My post title is sooooo original, yes I know.....I'm brilliant. *eye roll* lol
I'm very happy that the weekend is here, as usual. Even though it will be painfully short, it's still my time to chill and do whatever. So far, whatever has included cleaning house, cleaning house, and lastly cleaning house. Z had to go into work early this morning. As quiet as he was trying to be he still woke me up. He gave me my mernin suga and off he went. As hard as I wanted to, I just could not go back to sleep so I lounged in the bed a little while longer while my brain tried to will my body up so I could get to cleaning. My brain eventually won because the house is now spic and span. I would like to thank J.Scott, Eryka Badu, De'Angelo, and ole school MJ for helping me to get 'er done!
This week has really been quite a doozy. I have honestly been so tired that I literally just wanted to lay down as soon as I entered to door. The culprit is work as it seems I have officially begun to actually put time in for what I do. Try as might to not work, the plantation just did not want to seem to want to give me a break this week. Oh well, as is life, these things do happen. *sigh*
I had an interview late yesterday afternoon. This lady called me out of the blue and told me she had seen my resume on Mon.ster and wanted me to come in. I had never even heard of this place before but from what I read while doing my research, they are a good company to work for. They've been around for 28 years are #1 in the industry they work in, never have had layoffs (this is a definite plus!!) AND you get to wear jeans every freakin day....my kind of job. I scheduled it for when I got off of work but had planned to dot out a few minutes early (count 30, lol) since it was on the other side of town. I wanted to make it earlier in the day but my boss was going to be in all day and since I knew I would be interviewing with a few different people I didn't want to take the chance of being gone longer than normal. Ha, yeah right. Lo and behold his ass takes a half a day off and left at lunch time.....that son of a biscuit!!! I am going to need for him to utilize his Outlook calendar function and update it to show "out of office" going forward. I need to know these things so that I can properly plan how I am going to use my "non-work" work time, lol.
Anway, the interview went well, but then again, I usually think that and never get the offer so I am probably just delusional. I first interviewed with the HR manager and generalist. That took like an hour and a half. Then I met with the VP and we talked for another 30 minutes or so. The company has a new system they just migrated to and the person filling this role would be responsible for bringing the big dawgs up to par on the system and running the reports for them, etc. As the guy I talked to put it, "I'm the most computer savvy person (of the higher ups) and I'm not really that computer savvy". Oh my............ So basically the person would have to be trained by the people @ Micro.so.ft to learn the product..........OH MY. I know I can do but really can I????!!!! Yeah, I can but there's always that little voice of doubt in my head that tries to steal my thunder. It's something I've done a million times before (learning dbms's and running reports) but there was always someone else there who knew more so I was safe in the fact that I didn't have that pressure to know everything........know what I mean? Honestly, I still hope I get the position. They didn't have a problem with my salary request (another plus). There is one more person being interviewed Monday in addition to the person they had Thursday, I hope they both sucked major ass! lol lol lol They are wanting to bring some in ASAP and I would be all to happy to leave my current employer ASAP (by choice, not force of course). I had to throw that out there cause words have power.......I know this from experience. So with that being said, I claim this job as mine and mine only and will not only do a good job but I will knock their freakin socks off!
Yesterday evening while we were watching "World Trade Center" on tv the doorbell rings. I mean rings, ding-dong, ding-dong, ding-dong, ding-dong, ding-dong, DING-MF'IN-DONG.
Me(loud): Oh heeeeeellllllllll no! Who in the hot devil hell is this ringin this bell like they done lost their rabbid ass mind??!!
Z: I don't know but they better need some help or they are going to need some help.
Z opens the door and I'm all up in the mix peekin around him. I'll be damn if it's some little kids, out waaaaayyyy past sunset, tryin to sell some ish. It was a quarter 'til 9 folks. I just walked off. I don't know what they were selling but they instantly lost my interest after showing that they had no home training ringing the doorbell like that. Z told them no thanks. Folks please school your kids that it is not okay (1) to be out and about after the streetlights come on (I'm old school and it's just a rule of thumb to me), (2) you only need to ring the doorbell twice; once and if no answer try again, if no answer after that move it along, and (3)your very YOUNG children, do not need to be going door to door by themselves when the moon is out. Yes they were with their slightly older sister and I consider our neighborhood to be quite safe but still you never know.
Anyway that's all that going on here in "The Way", I'm off to go and check out everyone's pages to get my updates.

Short and Sweet
Today is the day!!! I'm sure many of you have (or haven't) been waiting with baited breath for Jill's cd to be released. All I can say is if you're not a fan, you have no idea of what you are missing. This woman and her voice, maaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnn! She is BY FAR my favorite singer ever, HANDS DOWN!!!! Her music, her words they do something to me on the inside part (thanks Beloved, lol). She just has a way of making me feel things I don't feel with a lot of artists out there. It's always good to see someone who is genually serious about their craft. Not to say that any other musician out there isn't (well there are some that I really give a mean side-eye to). I appreciate the fact that she takes her time (even though the wait can sometimes be excrutiating) to make sure she is delivering her very best work. All of the songs are great, but my favorite tracks (so far) are #11 (Whenever You're Around)which made me mist up....SHUT UP!! lol It wasn't even the words, it was just the raw beauty of her voice. Also #16(The Way, Live in Paris). I know it's an older song but she put a rock mix to it and it sounds absolutely fabulous. If you've seen Dave Chappelle's "Block Party" it's the same version she performed in the movie. I instantly fell in love with it when I heard it then and I love even more now that I can play it in the car.I stan (stalker-fan) for JS and will continue to do so until the day I leave this place called Earth. :-)

I'm a Rockin Girl Blogger Baby!
I've been tapped on the shoulder by none other than CreoleinDC as a Rockin Girl Blogger. Hip hip HOORAY!!! After a little prodding from Sissy (girl I'm slow as molasses), I have finally posted my honors. So thanks to Creole for bestowing this wonderful honor upon me and my blog. I am humbled by this. It's about 5:00 pm my time (C.S.T.) and the greens are almost done. I'm am so ready to tear those suckas up!! Watch, I won't even eat a good bowl full. Z made a roast and some Jiffy (cornbread), aaaaannnnnddddd a Strawberry Cheesecake so we we'll be eating heartily with leftovers to boot. As usual in our house, Z is on the couch, I am on the loveseat online and the game is on. It looks like the NY Giants and Washington Redskins are playing. I had to look up from the computer screen to verify cause as I have said before, I don't do football (not much anyway).
Yesterday after walking the "kids" in the morning and lounging for most of the day, we made a trip to Sam's Club to sign up for a membership. For years and years, I always said I would get one but yeeeepppp, never did. After we made our way in, we made a beeline for the desk to sign up where Rotunshanda (who looked to have an attitude) and Emma (we got a chuckle out of that as that's the puppies name) were having a hard time (read pissed off). Anyway, we fill out the forms and wait for Emma to come back to take our info to enter into the system. We are waiting because she is having to deal with someone who wanted her to call a manager. You know what that spells....trouble and a loooonnng wait. Lucky for us, another young lady came up to help out and took our stuff to get us set up. As we waited, I noticed that her boobies were out. I don't mean just a little, I mean O-U-T! All that was missing were her nipples! lol I know she is proud of her bountiful blessings, as am I, but come now all that at work just ain't necessary. Once we got our cards we went through the store and picked out this and that and laughed at the thought of how long it would take just the two of us to use a lot of the bulk items in the store. After we had enough, we went to checkout and the CSM lady looks at our cart and was like "Is that all ya'll got? You can go over to the service desk and have them check you out since their not busy." Z and I looked at each other and kind of chuckled and both mumbled to each other that we thought we did have a lot. All that supersized stuff must have messed with our heads. lol So over at the service desk chillin is none other than Rotunshanda eagerly awaiting (read: po'd to see us coming) to check us out.
She asked if we had a return. Z told her no that the manager chick told us to come there. She had this look on her face and I just knew what it meant....."I hate it when they do that shit". ha ha. Anyway, she finished us off and we left with not too bad of a dent in the pockets.
We took it back to the house and chilled out for the rest of the night watching movies and what not. I'm sure there will be more of the same tonight minus the movies, plus football for him and whatever else is on tv for me. :-) I've since finished eating and it was good! I'm fuller than a tick and ready for my slice of cheesecake. I was about to wash dishes but I hear Z in there taking care of that....GOOD DEAL! Since my baby is taking up the slack, I am about to go to Ha.stings to pick up some books to read this week and come back to pick out my outfits to wear to work this week. This is a must now as I am going to start coming in about a half hour earlier (7 vs- 7:30). You wouldn't think that 30 minutes would make a lot of difference in a commute but I'm here to tell ya it does. I told my boss this past Friday that I would start coming in earlier and of course he didn't care sooooo, there ya go. Anyway, anything I can do to save time during the morning routine is a must as I will most certainly wake up late 4 out of the 5 days in a work week. *sigh* Oh well, here's hoping you guys are having a fun and safe weekend!

I'll be damn.....
....if I didn't save a post on my jumpdrive while I was at work and it's not here. I think it was a human error as I didn't direct it to save to my desired location so I figure my post is floating around on my hardrive @ work somewhere. I'll deal with that Monday cause honey it's Friday evening and I ain't hardly stuttin anybody's job right now!
Emma and I are chillin' out on the bed looking @ "Still Standing" on Lifetime. This show is so funny as is Reba. I love Barbara Jean and Van! They make the show to me. Reba McEntire is a good actress as well. Who knew her talents extended beyond singing. My favorite song of hers has always been "Fancy". I caught a bit of her on Oprah this week. That lady is 52 years old and looks damn good....I mean DAMN GOOD! Go head honey chile! Anyway. Isn't it something, shows you would never think of normally watching while they are on the air are some of the best ones when they are in syndication. Case in point, "My Wife and Kids". You couldn't have paid me to watch before but now that they show repeats I absolutely cannot get enough. Go figure!
So yesterday was "Black Thursday". I had my black on and made a point to check out the other two brown faces in my department. One had on brownish stuff and the other had on dark gray. At least one of them was close. Maybe the gray signified the union of blacks and whites in perfect harmony. What??!! That could be the case. During my observations, I also noticed that several of my white co-workers had on black as well. Makes me wonder if it was by choice or coincedence. I'll just have to wonder because I didn't ask.
I was watching the local news this morning as I got ready for work and heard a story (http://www.wbaltv.com/news/14143146/detail.html ) of a woman throwing her SIX MONTH OLD child at a policeman. WTF??? In case you ain't know, babies are not the new projectiles........get it togther people....Damn! And why was this heifer released from jail while facing 8 different charges of child abuse and drug charges. This world ain't right I tell ya.
With that, I'm out. I had much more typed up but it just is not happening this evening. I am about to go to the county fair to get me a corn dog and a turkey leg to make some greens with....YUMMY!!!
Have a good weekend!
THIS JUST IN:
So we are back from the fair. I told Z we are going to be in here just long enough for me to get my corn dog , some turkey legs for the greens I am going to cook up this weekend, and do a lap around the fairgrounds. I saw the usual mix of fair workers, country, and get-toe people. Here are the highlights.

- This one guy that was working a game had the grungiest looking toenails I think I had ever seen in my life and had the nerve to have them on display in some flip flops. Ewwwww, someone pass him a toenail clipper and some Cornhuskers lotion please.
- 5-0 was chasing after something or another not soon after I saw crusty the clown. Dude was kinda healthy and seemed to be having a hard time getting to his destination. I just made sure I moved out of his path as I did not want to be the headline for the paper, "Woman Gets Trampled During Police Chase", the next morning. I think they caught whoever it was as I heard some young girl talking on her cell saying they got Toot Toot or some damn body.
- I also see that leggings are all the rage here, especially bright red ones with tight booty shorts and red braids. *smh* It didn't help that her friends were "complimenting" her new look by telling her that she was sexy. That made me refrain from telling her she really needed to take that ish out of her head. Hey, if you sessy your just sessy, no need for me to rain on her parade especially when your all of maybe 14. *eyeroll*
- We went through the cattle portion of the animal display. The stench is enough to make you want to shower continously for 24 hours yet I am always drawn to it. I'm always amazed by the size of some of the cattle. Some of those beasts are humongous!!! I just stood and looked at this one until she/he gave me the side eye. I got the hell on just in case it wanted to get buck and kick me out of the stable.
- One group of family/friends decided it was a good idea to bring their wagon with them to tote the babies in. I wonder if he'll do it next year. Seems like he was having a hard time maneuvering through the crowd while the little ones were being held in the arms of others.
- Children are cute.
- Children are not as cute while running around knocking into you.
- Children are especially not cute while cussin.
- Some kids get on my nerves.
So anyway, that was my take on the 2007 Faulkner County Fair. The food I got made it 30 minutes well spent. :-)

Those boots were made for walkin!
I started a post yesterday morning at work but 86’d it, as I didn’t have a lot to say. I did end up stopping by TJ Maxx when I got into town after work as well as the one in North LR yesterday afternoon. Both stores had the boot but only the ankle version which I’ve never really cared for so I opted to pass. I thought about going back to the zappos website and getting the ones they had but they cost $99, TJMaxx had them for $50. I figure if I’m going to pay durn near a hundred bucks for some boots they need to be the supersized, so now I am looking for the boot in the knee high version. I checked the Dillards website and found a perfect match. They are beautifully made by Michael Kors and are $289….*sigh* That’s a tad rich for my blood so I’ve set my budget @ $150 since I know the “full length” boots tend to be a bit more expensive. It’s still a lot (to me) but I like my boots to be all leather, I don’t really dig the imitation stretch leather that a lot of boots are made out of nowadays. On the bright side, I did score a pair of really cute boots while at TJ Maxx. I searched and searched for a picture of them on the web but can’t find one so here’s a good substitute http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/20330638/c/768.html to show they style of the boot. The ones I purchased are brown, the design makes it look like it is quilted (like this http://www.bakersshoes.com/product/bakers+womens+boots/bakers+womens+dress+boots/kavita.do ) and are real leather unlike the boots displayed in the pic. There is a strap thing-a-ma-jig that goes across the top with a silver buckle and the strap is patent leather(ish) as is the heel. I’ll just have to take a picture so I can show them off.
I finished reading Eric Jerome Dickey’s “Chasing Destiny” yesterday. I figured that there was not going to be much substance to the book but I took a chance since (1) I really wasn’t looking for anything “deep” to read and (2) it was on clearance for $5. I should have saved that $5 for another rainy day cause that book was a mess. The convo’s between the characters were redundant and went on forever when it could have been nipped in the bud. Quite honestly half of the story could have been left out and it would have been a better book. I personally wouldn’t even recommend it to Lil Bootsie’s Book Club but don’t let that deter you….just my two cents.
I caught probably the last 30 minutes or so of “The Biggest Loser” last night. I guess I missed last season cause I had no idea the dark haired lady that was a trainer had left and come back. So now they have 3 teams. That’s cool since it gives more people a chance to compete. I would love to be on that show just to be able to have all that exercise equipment available 24/7 trainer included and be able to have healthy meals all the time. They also canned the other host (Caroline Rhea) and got the lady who plays that crazy girl “Sammi” on Days of Our Lives probably cause she kept gaining weight (it seemed) every season. ANTM (America’s Next Top Model) premieres tonight. I didn’t even know until I heard it on the radio this morning……maybe that’s a sign that it’s time for me to stop watching. I used to stan HARD for it, now I really don’t mind if I miss an episode or four. Lol
In other news, my work neighbor E-40 was on crutches last week. When I asked what happened, he told me that he had gout. It took a lot to restrain myself since I was at work. A normal reaction to that simple phrase is a laugh and side order of negro please! I kind of chuckled and asked what was really wrong with him. He says “No seriously….I got gout!” If you could have seen the expression on my face………. I looked to his neighbor and he nodded his head “yeeeeeep, he’s got gout”. At this point I’m thinking to myself they must be joking cause gout ain’t real……is it???? Turns out IT IS! Who knew…..obviously not my me. E-40’s neighbor told me that he thought the same as me until one of his relatives got it. All this time I thought it was just a term folks randomly threw out when they didn’t really know what was wrong with them. Gout is real just like Jesus. My entire life as I know it has changed.

It's Monday
Back on the grind after a relaxing weekend. I took the “kids” for an extended weekend edition walk Saturday morning. The weather was SO nice, damn near perfect fall temps. I cut the air off and let all the windows up when I got back home. That reminds me, I need to go stock up on some fall themed/scented candles like pumpkin spice, apple somethin or another, etc. It always makes the house smell sooooooo homey! Since football season is upon us, the tv occupied most of Z’s time. The big Razorback –v- Alabama game was Saturday. I heard (as I didn’t watch) it was really good. A last minute score with just seconds left on the scoreboard allowed AL to take the win. That had to suck……oh well. Saturday evening, we went to the video store and got a few flicks: GhostRider, Sherry Baby, and Blades of Glory. Ghost Rider was cool…. nothing spectacular, I fell asleep on Blades of Glory (not because it was bad but because I was sleepy by the time we got around to watching it) but I don’t think I missed much. Sherry Baby was not bad , not good just okay, the story line didn’t really go really as deep as it could have (IMO) but that Maggie Gyllenhall chick did a pretty decent job (sans her saggy boobs). The plan was to go to the movies last night but I wasn’t in the mood to sit in a theater so that plan got scrapped. I ended up flipping back and forth between the boring ass Emmy’s and “Muriel’s Wedding” (which was a very good movie!) until I realized the movie was much more interesting. I had always wanted to watch it but up to that point never had and had no idea that it starred Toni Collette (who I just love). If you’ve never seen it, do yourself a favor and check it out sometime. It’s one of those quirky little films that just takes you right in (at least it did with me).
Sidenote: I am listening to a song on the radio and the voice sounds remotely like Will Smith…..something about “the party starter”. Does he have a new song out? Never mind, he just confirmed my suspicions by saying his name at the end of the song. I don’t like it, it’s corny.
In other news, my boss will be out of the office until Thursday AND we get to wear jeans all this week. I didn’t find that little tidbit out until I got to work this morning and saw (most of) everyone in denim. I asked my neighbor E-40 if I missed the memo. Apparently, I did (as I am not on the distribution list that sends out stuff like that) because you get to wear jeans the last official week before summer is over and shorts on Friday. *does the tootsie roll* . I’ll be washing all my dirty denim and diamonds tonight to be prepared for the rest of the week. Work in general is boring. The primary software that I use is so easy that it’s ridiculous. My main challenges so far are the people (isn’t that normally the case, lol). They are nice but you know as well as I do, being nice doesn’t always make you a good worker and that’s all I will say about that. lol
I went to TJ Maxx and saw THE cutest boots by Nine West (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/20538571/c/72/g/women/s/9.html). The largest size they had was an 8 ½….no 9’s anywhere!! I tried on the smaller size to entertain myself. That sucker was durn near taking my blood pressure so that was definitely a no go! I will stop by the TJ Maxx where I live to see if I have better luck this evening. As a matter of fact, I am heading out a half hour early to get a head start on rush hour traffic.
Byeeeeee!

Just Blah
As usual…not much going on….work, home, walk the dogs, eat, chill, sleep, wait for the weekend…..repeat M-F. * sigh* I’m at work right now typing up a post since I haven’t felt much like blogging in the evening but it won’t be up until I get home since corporate americano has the blog game (most of them anyway) on LOCK! I think I may do this going forward, type of my thoughts up in a word doc @ work and copy and paste it when I get home……sounds like a plan. Anyway, it just occurred to me that I never blogged about this weird dream I had a few weeks back. I had good intentions but just never got around to it. It was actually two dreams so as best as I can remember this is what happened.
The first dream started with Z and I bike riding in the dark in a town that seemed familiar (like I had been there before) but didn’t look familiar at all…..so stran-jay! So we are riding along and I see a group of kids (they were about 9 or 10 I guess) on their bikes as well. I noticed that they were going really fast, probably racing or something, then all of a sudden some of the kids starting hollering at one kid telling him to watch out. Next thing you know he and his bike fall down some ditch, open hole, or something. Z and I jet over there and get the kid (I think it was a boy) out and take him to a house nearby. When we get there, the couple already had the door open and led us over to the couch to lay the kid down. Everything from the outside to the inside of the house was cream. Doors-cream, carpet-cream, couch-cream, the couples clothes-cream even the freakin dog was cream. Lol Z is trying to comfort him because he was still crying but it looked like he only had a few scrapes and bruises (that had to suck for the cream couch). The kid eventually falls asleep and then that’s it, at least that’s all I remember.
In the second dream we are in downtown St. Louis or at least close to it because I remember seeing the arch not too far from where we were. So we are walking to this place Z wanted to take me to. We eventually find it and stand outside for awhile while Z chats it up with a couple of people outside. We walk in and I realize it’s a strip club. Whoever owned apparently didn’t want to bring much attention to it as it was just a regular brick one story building. I didn’t trip but I remember saying that we needed to make a beeline to the bar so I could and I quote, “Get some grey goose so I can get loose”. Da hell??!! Lol lol lol The club was dark with the exception of the lights around the bar , dimly lit accent lights on the walls around the club, and the spotlight on the stage. We are walking around and I see quite a bit of folks getting lap dances and what not. I notice that we are making our way past all the action to another part of the building. Turns out the action was where we were headed. Before my eyes, people are pretty much getting it on and not caring as we pass through. (it kind of put me in the mind of that Tom Cruise flick “Eyes Wide Shut”). There were open rooms with lots of folks and ummmm “private” rooms I guess even though most of the doors were still open. We finally get to where we were going, a “private” room. It was really long but had lots of seating. The tv was on and I think that was the only light in the room. Z sees his boy in the room and goes over gives him some dap and sits down on one of the couches. I’m thinking to myself, I know this negro doesn’t think I’m about to get it on with him and this dude. I grab a seat in a chair and keep on drinking. Z and his friend keep looking to the other side of the room where I was at but they weren’t looking at me. I look up as this girl gets up from a couch where she had been sleeping. If she were a snake she would have bit me cause I didn’t even see her. She sashays over to them and I get up and follow and sit next to Z on the couch. Z and the guy are checking her out talking about her cute and thick she is but they were not talking TO her but to each other, all the while she is just smiling and giggling……while naked thank you very much! Lol So the guy and the girl start making out, Z looks over at me, smiles and then……I wake up. Seriously, that’s it. The alarm on my phone was going off and eventually brought me around.
So that’s it. I don’t know what to make of the first one since it was so short, random, and cream but I can only presume that I was horny when having the second one. Lol I told Z about both dreams the next day and all he could do was laugh. I still want to know how it ends though….maybe the dream realm will be kind and take me back.
Plain and Simple
Hey ya'll!
It's Sunday evening and I am sitting here "watching" (ie listening to and looking up here and there) a NFL game with Z. I don't know who is playing and I don't know the score. I am currently in the middle of cooking dinner as I type this post.
This weekend has been the complete opposite of the previous one. We have done absolutely nothing except for go to the store to buy groceries. I of course have been back since then to pick up the things that I forgot to include on the list yesterday......I still think that I forgot something though. Oh well.
Friday night Z ordered a pizza. It had been a few months since we last had one so I figured we were due for another. He got some pizza cut into "strips" that you could dip into sauce from Pi.zza H.ut. It was pretty good with the ranch and marinara sauces, the garlic butter dip is definitely for those with a totally different palate than mine. Basically....it gross! At around 8 or 9 that night, my tummy started feelin not so hot so I laid down. At 1:30 a.m., I woke up to the most painful stomach cramp ever!!!!!! I laid there to try and see if I could make it stop..... yeah, I think I have super powers or something when it comes to my body. Someone must have had some cryptonite nearby cause AR Gal could not make it stop. The entire time I was laying in the bed the Pep.to commercial kept playing through my head. "If you have nasseau, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea...." At that point, I felt like I had all those symptons. I got up and walked around which helped slightly but not enough for me to get a good nights rest. So I thought out my options....I could either take some medicine and wait for it to kick in or force myself to throw up whatever was ailing me. After checking to make sure I had another toothbrush in the cabinets under the sink, I took the other one I use and well, yeah you get the rest. I have a pretty strong gag reflex when I brush my tongue so I knew that wouldn't be a problem. So after the upchuck from hell, I instantly felt better. Z didn't even budge. He said that he was dreaming but he heard me when I did it but just thought it was part of his dream.....whatever man! lol After I woke up later that day, I thought about what I had eaten prior to that. Then it came to me, I had about a handful of "puffy" cheetos a few hours before that. The bag was pretty close to being empty and the cheetos at the bottom of the bag normally get soaked in the oil that settles to the bottom. I think the combo of that and the pizza did me in. I won't be eating cheetos or pizza for a long while......especially not in the same day.
Moving on.....while in Wally World shopping this lady turns her cart onto the same aisle I'm on. I look up to glance and keep looking at the item I wanted to purchase. Then I look up again and stare cause I couldn't believe what this lady had on. I mean from head to toe she looked a MESS! She was wearing a weave that looked absolutely attrocious! It was like a mix of orange and strawberry blonde maybe.....I don't know, it was just extremely bright. The worst part was it looked like she had not thought to even put a brush to it from the time it was installed on her head. Honestly at first I thought she had picked up a wig from the Halloween aisle and had forgotten to take it off until I saw her hair peaking through and waving to me. My eyes then wavered down to her tube top and pants, both of which were waaaaaayyyyy to tight. I don't even think she had a bra on as the back of the top had rolled down and I saw no support of the chesticular area whatsoever. People....why.....just why???? I'm just glad I only saw the view from the back.
Anyway, I also went by Has.tings today to scoop up a couple of books to read. After making my selections, I go to wait in line. No sooner than I get there, my ears are brutally assaulted by this loud annoying chick. Imagine the voice of Fran Dresher in "The Nanny" and add about a gazillion decibiles to it. Her cell was ringing as she got in line behind me. Her ringtone was "My Humps", ya know the part where they sing "spendin all your money on me". She then hauls off and says, yep you sure are and answers the phone. Her convo ensues with her hubby:
"Hey Honeeeeeyyyyy" *pause while he talks. (I'm assuming he is suggesting that she hurry her ass up)* "Well, could you please be patient, I'm in line right now" *pause again* "No I didn't buy out the store" *pause again* "I'll be out in a minute okaaaaayyyyyy"
She then turns around and starts conversing with someone behind her. I do a quick head spin to see who she is talking to, it's a young black guy. She tells him, "He's such a mess about me spending money. He would have really been mad if I would have bought those $500 jewelry boxes I wanted yesterday. " *sidebar....who in the hell buys $500 jewelry boxes???* The guy laughs a little. She keeps on talking, "Don't worry honey, you will have a wife soon that will be just as great as me that will want to spend your money too". HA! For real.....okay. I stop listening after that and hurry up and get the hellz out of that store. As I'm leaving the parking lot, I see her sashaying her butt out of the store like she had just finished shopping @ Tiffany's or something. lol lol Go head girl, go head get down. lol lol. I pity her husband.
Anyway, that's the weekend for me. Nothing special, just a couple of tales of tomfoolery. Dinner's done so I'm off to eat.
Hope you guys are having a wonderful evening!

Wipe Me Down
There's another new post down below but I just had to share this mess with you guys. Simply put....this woman is pissin in public....in between a sidewalk and a curb.....as she leans on a car.....for real. This triflin heifer couldn't find a restroom, an alley, hell l wouldn't have been as digusted if she had at least found a bush........just ugh! The worst part is that she has a young child with her on lookout, I suppose, holding her extra pieces of toilet tissue while she does this bs. Hand this nasty bitch a depend stat! I think I threw up a little in my mouth after watchin this.
FYI.....if you guys are at work you may want to wait until you get to the house as it's NSFW.

Blogger is trippin about me trying to add embedded code and I don't feel like trying to figure it out.

Labor Day Weekend Wrap-Up
Hey ya'll! First thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! My b-day and the weekend out of town were great!
The birthday evening was a nice evening eating out with a beautiful card and necklace I had my eye on for awhile. The weekend officially got started for me @ 3:48 Friday afternoon. I was supposed to leave @ 4:30 but got tired of pretending to work especially when I had absolutely nothing to do so I bounced. Hardly anyone else was there anyway most importantly my boss, lol. So after making sure the house was in order, we left Saturday @ 2:00. We get on the road and were making good time when BAM.......we see a gazillion brake lights. That can only mean one thing on a Saturday afternoon on I-40........CAR WRECK!!! Arrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!! So while we are waiting it out, we noticed other cars coming back past us. Picture us in the left lane and other cars backing up, turning around, and going past us on the grassy part. lol There was a section in between that we had just passed that you could cross over to the other side of the interstate, so we counted about 20 cars that chose to do just that. I tell Z we are not going to do that but once there was an opening, to get over in the right hand lane and to just ride the median out to the next exit. Sure enough, just as we merged traffic picks back up......for a hot second and then to a stop. We finally get to the exit to take a back road up to the next town. By the time we get back up to the interstate, traffic was smooth sailing so I guess the wreck was just a little bit further than where we were. Oh well, who cares....as long as we were moving I could have cared less. I despise being stuck in traffic that does not move.
Moving on, we made it Memphis and got settled in the hotel room. I wasn't about to ask mom's if we could crash there.....she's old school when it comes to folks not being married and staying at the house. lol Plus it was just more comfortable for us since we had the dogs and would be coming and going at all hours of the night. So we leave to grab a bite to eat come back and Cochise is barking at the top of his freakin lungs! OMG! I was so shame. I hauled ass upstairs to get in the room so he would shut up! lol. I told Z that we had to get him a muzzle cause I would be pissed if I had paid for a room and then be forced to sit and listen to a dog whine and bark all night. Of course he didn't take to well to it at first....it was actually kinda funny to sit and watch him trying to get it off. He gave up after about 30 minutes.
So we get the "kids" fed and walked and we head out to Southland (a dog track where they race greyhounds) which is in West Memphis (right before you get to Memphis). I have passed this place so many times and had never been and neither had Z so we rolled out. Ya'll that was some of the most boring shit I have ever experienced in my life! The races occur like every 12-13 minutes and in between that time they have the stats of how everyone is betting up on tv screens, then they show the dogs, then they race for one lap then it's done and you go back to waiting. Seriously....I was ready to go after the 2nd race. Luckily we got there late and only had to endure 3 races since it was almost over. :-D Z did win 19 bucks though, lol. One guy won like $800+ and let everybody know. I told Z, dude needs to shut up cause you know somebody is gonna try and jump him when they get in the parking lot. ha ha So we left there and went to the casino out in Tunica. I always remember why I only go every so often........I just can't get with giving over tons of hard earned money to get nothing in return. I'm not a big risk taker so gambling is definitely not my thing. I was ready to go after an hour and a half. This one lady I talked to said she had been there since 1 in the afternoon......we didn't get out there until like 12 something....*blank stare* It's her thing though so whatever........... After that we hit up Beale street. Beale is Beale lots of walking, stopping into bars to have a drink, listening to music, and laughing at the folks gettin wasted and acting a fool. We actually had the most fun down there.
We got back to the room @ about 4 that morning and slept good and hard.....so hard we didn't wake up until 12 that afternoon. ha ha! Of course I wake up starvin and want some crab legs so we head up the interstate a couple of exits to Joe's Crab Shack. It was yummy! I heard that they are going to open up one in North Little Rock......I sure hope so. Then we hit up the mall and I spot a few things and we book it back to the room to chill out before the concert.
I won't even go into the details of the Memphis ghetto fabulousness that I witnessed but I will say that if I ever needed a reason to know that lime green and cream (with cream gators to match thank you very much!) look really sucky together, this one DUDE'S outfit was all I needed to see to confirm it. Even Z made comment about how wrong dude was for that and he hardly ever talks about folks. lol Now the promos for the concert had Musiq and "friends". I had been trying to find out exactly who "and friends" consisted of since we got the tickets. I knew that Marvin/Marcus Dixon (some guy that did/does comedy on ComicView) was going to be the host/comedian, whoever he was he did a really good job. He was hilarious! The only thing I didn't want was a local act performing, sure enough that's who the other "friends" were. Some group called "Soul Singers". *eye roll* They weren't that bad once they started singing slower songs but the sound engineering department had the sound so f-d up all you could hear was the band and not them for the first two. *sigh* Anyway, so they move on and the comedian dude does his thing, then Musiq comes out in some khaki short set with gold sequins on the side of the shorts and on the side seams of the shirt, with some paint/"art" on the back of the shirt with a hot pank (yes pank) tie, and some timb's with no shoelaces. That negro looked crazy as hell but he put on a good show and I was happy. So we left to grab a bite it eat and hung out on Beale a little more and took it back to the room.
Sunday, sorry Monday, was just a lot of loungin, hanging out with the fam, and bringing it back to the house. All in all, it was a good weekend, no complaints here. Okay now, I'm gone to check out your blogs since I can't do it during the day :-(. Corporate americano has that ish on lock so my blog addiction has to wait until the evenings.....oh well.

Sayonara Twenties!
Hey ya'll! I'm tired as hell but in lieu of the last evening of my twenties I felt I should post. I probably should say something about this last decade of my life. It was fun.....that's all I got right now. Onto the post.
So as ya'll know, I started the new gig yesterday. With most first days you get the introductions to the group (everyone is nice), the email showing your login/passwords to certain applications have been set up (some of them still don't work), and you start getting trained (not me, lol). I have a floating appointment with my counterpart in OH as soon as the IT people get me set-up in the one system that I really need. It's not their fault though, my boss (let's call him Ray cause he resembles the guy from "Everybody Loves Raymond", just a little younger) forgot to send in the request on my behalf so I have been getting paid to pretty much do nothing for the past two days. I told my cube neighbor that I am ready to get to work. He, let's call him E-40 (engineer 1), told me to not rush a thing cause he has a feeling that my azz is will be on the grind whenever they set me up. lol I think I'll take his advice and chill out as much as I can until then......just watch that ish will be working tomorrow. lol So the company I am contracted to work for is big however this department is not. By this being with the engineering group, there are A LOT of guys (black, white, other, & in-between) and just a handful of women. I actually think I made it a solid handful, lol. Hopefully work tomorrow will be a little more interesting and I won't spill hot water (with lemon *wink*) all over my pants........again. *sigh*
Z and I have been doing major cleaning around the crib. I'm talking "wipe me down" style....cabinets, floors, carpets, doors. ha ha That made me laugh, sorry. As I type this, he is currently cleaning the carpet....not vacumming......steam cleaning. With another doggie addition to the house, we felt it was needed and since we are going out of town this weekend we decided to go ahead and get it out the way. Speaking of this weekend, I decided to go to Memphis, blah. I was searching for tickets to stuff on ticketmaster and noticed Mr. B-u-d-d-y (Musiq) himself will in town so I figured...why not. I'm actually looking forward to it. I really hope that (1) he shows up and (2) he doesn't forget the lyrics to his songs like he did to the "Star Spangled Banner". lol
Well, I'm off to bed.....I think. Hope you guys had/are having a good evening.

Weekend Wrap-Up
This weekend was all about relaxin and good eatin. We went out to eat @ The Butcher Shop (they are known for their steaks) Saturday evening. I had been before but Z had not been so off we went. I opted to try the salmon this go round instead of steak. The salmon itself was good but the hollandaise sauce that you could use to eat with it.....no so much. It tasted like melted butter with a little cream added to it. I have had the sauce before at Morton's (compliments of my big sis. I was a broke college student at the time and could not afford to eat there on my Wal-Mart paycheck) and lemme tell ya it tasted nothing like that. So anyway, I just ate my vegetables and sopped up the salmon with the brown rice and called it a day. To this day, the best salmon I have ever had was at Outback....I kid you not. The thing is huge (you really can't eat it all in one sitting unless you have gone all day without eating) and the sauce to accompany it is great!
So after that, we went to the "dollar movie". Actually it's only a dollar before 6. The after six price has increased from $1.50 to $1.75...bastards!! lol Z wanted to see "Fantastic Four:Rise of the Silver Surfer". Nothing like seeing a crappy movie at a cheap price....can't really complain about that right? Right! Yeah, that was until bey bey's kids, nieces, and nephews decided to come in. Oh lawd! Why?! From the time they walked through the door all you heard was talking. There was a couple sitting to the left of us. The guy kept telling the kids to shut the hell up! Of course they kept talking. I get up and go get Mr. Policeman and tell him he needs to get them to shut up or kick 'em out. So he comes in....stands there and "monitors" and then tells them to be quiet. They keep talkin but eventually get a little quieter. Mr. Policeman leaves and they start back up. I just about to turn around when Z turned around and was like "Look here. I don't know about ya'll but other people in here came to watch a movie. Ya'll need to take that sh*t up to the front row and get somewhere and be still or get the hell on." Don't ya'll know those chil'ren got quiet as a mouse? The man over to the left of us was crackin up laughing. I was kinda embarrased, then I was like....what for? ha ha. They left about 15 minutes after that....thank goodness. Not that the movie was all that good, but dagnabit we came to watch a movie not listen to them yip and yap about a whole bunch of nothing.
Sunday we just hung out around the house. Z put some steaks on the grill and I made some squash with mushrooms in olive oil like they had at the restaurant the evening before (minus the zucchini). After that it was time for football and I retired to the bedroom to watch my shows.
I missed the "Big Love" season finale cause we only have one box in the house.....I ordered another one Friday for the bedroom. Thank goodness for repeats as well because I will be watching it from the comforts of my bed this evening.
I've been thinking about what I wanna do for my birthday. I know I don't want a party...strange I know but it's just not my thing. I want to go out of town for the weekend but have planned NOTHING. We tossed around some places that we could maybe drive to Friday and stay the weekend (even though my b-day is technically Thursday). I considered St. Louis since my big sis is there (and currently my mom is too visitin)and take in some of the sights but I have seen them all. Plus going to St. Louis is not really getting away to me since I have family that lives there. I don't know we'll see but I do know I will be doing something....I just don't know what that is yet. I'll probably surf the web today and see if there's anything interesting going on in the surrounding areas since I don't start work until tomorrow.
How about ya'll? How was your weekend? I guess I could just go to your blogs and see for myself huh? lol
Have a good day!

Staccato
I got new tires yesterday. I didn't take too long. I payed more than I wanted to. I got the "good" tires. I also got the wheels aligned and the oil changed. My hubcap was loose but they broke it. They tried to put it on me. He says that it was already somewhat loose. Yeah but it was on there. I got sassy. My new one will be in today. They are paying for it. I like my new tires. The ride is much smoother. The new rubber smell is stinkin up the garage.
My next car will have alloy rims. Factory rims. Not 28" rims from Leroy's dubb shop. I can't stand those things. They are so not my style. It's okay if the alloy rims are shiny though. As long as they come with the car. I saw a Nissan Murano. They had shiny alloy rims. I liked it. I do not like hubcaps. I have gone through a lot of them. They suck!
I bought a box of Chocolate Chex. I like trying different cereals. I like Chex. I do NOT like them with cocoa sprinkled on. It's gross. Do not buy them. They are in the garbage. I bought a box of regular Chex yesterday.
I got a birthday card yesterday. It was from my mom. She also included a gift in paper form. :-) I will be 30 one week from today. I'm not too freaked out. I do feel different though. Like I'm actually really grown. ha ha Okay, not really. I'm taking it better than my friend. She turned 30 in March. She just about died. Her words not mine. She looks good to have had a near death experience.
I start a new job Tuesday. I have not worked for 4 months. I was doing contract work for a consulting company. It paid really well. I miss that money. The new job is with the same consulting firm. My interview lasted 20 minutes. I kinda knew I would get it. I used to work with the guy who was last in the position. Networking does work. I need to call to thank him. It doesn't pay quite as much. Oh well. Such is life. It's still money. I am still applying and interviewing for other jobs. I don't like working on contract. I want a permanent position.
Hot water + lemon juice (from real lemons)=good stuff. For your body anyway. I used to do it religiously when I worked. I got lazy. I started back a month ago. I am less bloated. Lemons+baking soda=good stuff. For your face. It "tingles" but it works. I can always tell a difference in my skin instantly. I only do it sporadically. Citric fruits make skin sensitive to the sun. Be sure to wait a couple of hours if you do it during the day before going outside. I like to do it at night. They have a lot of other uses. Google it if you're bored today. lol
That's all for now. I hope you all have a good day.

Gone but Never Forgotten

It has been exactly one year today that my family lost its matriach, my Grandmother Virgie. She was a mother to 3, grandmother to 3, great grandmother to 4, and a friend to many. She was known by many names but only one describes her for me.....my grandmama. Throughout her life, she had to face many obstacles but always did it with a smile. She always told me growing up, smile even when you don't want to but more importantly smile because you should want to. That didn't make sense to me as a kid but I've grown older and have since had many life lessons.....I now know exactly what she meant. That small bit of advice has served me well.
I will never forget the walks to the doughnut shop with just she and I when she came to visit us during the summer, I will never forget the visits with her and us taking the bus around Memphis because she couldn't drive (I always thought that was the coolest thing), I will never forget the little notes of encouragement she sent to me while I was away in college (and the $5 she sent with them to buy me lunch), I will never forget the random 2 minute phone calls she made just to let me know that everything would be okay. To this day I still think we had a connection beyond just the surface because without fail, everytime I was feeling down she would call to lift my spirits. I will never forget the time we had together in this life.
I was many a time a spoiled brat, but she was always a wonderful grandmama. She had a long life, at 90 she left us to go on for her soul to finally rest. I miss her but I am not sad because I knew she was not happy with the state Alzheimer's had placed her in. I saw it everytime I looked into her eyes. With each visit, the warmth and brightness that I had come to expect had been replaced with something else I wasn't used to. I'm glad her suffering is now over and that her spirit is free. She is gone but never forgotten.
I love you Grandmama!

Adventures in Bowling and Late Night Eating

If you got a chance to read my post Saturday then you know that I went bowling that night. Pulling into the parking lot, we didn't think we would even be able to get a lane because the parking lot was almost full. Most of the crowd was because of a few birthday parties that were in the process of wrapping up. After waiting about 10 minutes we got a lane and got ta bowlin. I started off strong and had high hopes of showing Z up, ha! My hopes faired a lot better than my bowling arm cause this was the worst I've ever bowled, lol. I didn't get over 100 even with knocking a couple of strikes within one game. I think my highest score was 95, ha ha ha. 8 games and 3 balls later and I was dunzo! My fingers were were hurtin, my back was hurtin, and I was almost certain that my thighs would soon be giving me something to talk about shortly after so I called it quits. Z bowled a few more games by himself and then we were done.....and hungry.
It was close to midnight by the time we left so we headed to pretty much the only place that's open if you have the munchies.....Taco Hell. Normally that place is bumper to bumper with people, but we got in and out the drive through pretty quick. I should have known something was up then. So we get home and while I'm poppin a couple of Excedrin in my mouth I hear Z say that our order was not right. Say what?! I get on the phone, call the people to let them know I am the way back up there and grab the bag, receipt, my purse and leave. I get there and there is a truck right by the door to the dining room. He sees me and asks if they messed my order up too, I just shake my head and kind of smile while I grab for the door. Tell me why this thing is locked? I saw this lady in there cleaning up and she came over to open the door and said "Oh I bet we mixed your food up with his". ya think??!! So I walk over to the counter, she takes the bag , and goes to the back. I'm thinking that she is going to help re-do my order. She comes back with the bag and the receipt in her hand talking about, "She said since the dining room is closed you will have to get back in the drive through for us to fix it".
Now up until that point, I was trying to remain calm because I know me and when I get pissed it is not pretty. So after hearing her say that I haul off and ask " Who is she, cause she needs to come here so we can have a talk". She says it's her manager and then walks the hell off and continues cleaning. Seriously....for real.....okay. Then I notice that her husband/boyfriend/whatever are sitting in the dining room waiting on her to finish so they can all go home. After I stood there for about 5 seconds, I screamed out "HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!" and the lady working the drive-thru came over. I said now look I don't know which one of ya'll is the manager right now and personally at this point I really don't care all I know is that this one back here is telling me that I need to get back in the drive through for YOU to fix YOU'RE mistake and ma'am I just have to let you know that.ain't.gonna.happen. She starts apologizing and telling me that they have a new person and he had made a mistake. I said that's fine shit happens but whichever one of ya'll is the manager needs to talk with this one cause her people skills suck. She asked if we were charged the right price and all that jazz and took the bag back for them to re-make. You better believe that I watched them like a hawk as they made it too. lol I didn't eat half of it when I got home though, I had suddenly lost my appetite....go figure.

Online & random stuff
So I'm surfin the web today and find this little diddy:
My first iPhone Bill!
Add to My Profile More Videos
Just in case you can't view it, I will sum it up for ya.
So this chicka gets an iphone, which I think are severely overated but hey what do I know. So she receives her first bill (since she had to change service providers) and it comes in a box. ha ha! So while the music that the company now uses for most of it's ads plays in the background she flips through all the pages of her bill.......300 pages worth. All I can say is this chick must either own a business or can't keep her ass off the phone cause that's a lot of calls. So she makes the announcement that her bill was 300 pages long and then a message appears to "Use e-billing, save a forest". lol I mean did she really expect for her bill to show up in an envelope with all those minutes of usage? Maybe she did. It really wasn't strange to me as I used to have to keep up with invoicing for a company Iworked for and the bills came in those boxes all.the.time. I used to groan everytime I saw them because I would have to sort through each line of service to make sure they weren't being "abused" (per mgmts. request cause I really could have cared less).....all 30 of them. Yuck!
Anyway, all of this got me to thinking. Why don't I use e-billing? I should but I don't. Why not you ask? Hell, if I know cause I never even open the paper billing until I get ready to file off bills I've paid and attach my pymt confirmations with them. So then I notice on the website that I can actually save $5/month by using e-billing. For real? Why am I just now noticing this and why haven't I signed up? I don't know but I'm gonna, but first I need to make sure it doesn't bind me to a contract. You may think that would be silly but my current service provider does slick ish like that....trust. By the way, I'm still with Spr.in.t and I still plan on changing but in the meantime I will see if I can take advantage of that bit of savings.
Well that's all for me right now. Z and I are going bowling this evening. We are leaving in 15 minutes, I was supposed to start getting ready 15 minutes ago......good thing I already showered. It's kinda early but we are leaving then to see if we can make it to the alley to try and get a lane for the all you can bowl from 9-12. I don't know how well that's going to pan out with me lasting through 3 solid hours of bowling but I'll be sure to let you know. lol Ok, I now have 11 minutes to get ready....shit.
Have a good evening ya'll!

Nothing Much......
....going on here. Just the same ole same ole. Translation, I have nothing to blog about. I will however share a couple of vid's I saw courtesy of YouTube.
This first one is funny. It showcases some church folks gettin bout it. It gets really interesting at around the 48 second mark. Hey, at least they took it outside. lol lol
This other clip is of some judge in Atlanta going off in the courtroom during the sentencing of a child molester. Here's the gotcha though....he doesn't give the tongue lashing to chester chester, he saves it for the mom. Take a listen and you'll see why. We need more judges like this in our life.
That's all I have for now. Here's hoping you guys are having a great day!!

I love Jill Scott!!!
Here's the vid from her latest joint "Hate on Me". Cornell West and Tavis Smiley even make a small cameo in it...hilarious. Great video, great song! Check it out while you can before the mean people tell YouTube to take it down.

For Real??!!!
I've been reading this site for a few months now. If you are not familiar with it, the site was created by some guy named Frank to allow people to anonymously send in secrets via postcard to post on the internet. He normally posts new secrets each Sunday. I've seen some pretty interesting things and will find myself saying "daaaaammmmmnnnn" or "for real???" when I read some of them. lol The things some of these people have done or been through are just that shocking at times(some of them make me crack up laughing).
So today, the site has a mini-movie up. It's pretty much just video of the postcards with music and the Frank dude talking a bit. What got me was the very first secret in the vid. I won't ruin the experience for you guys but I will say that my mouth dropped wide open......for real for real! I would love to have a convo with this person just to find out why. Now one that just struck me as wierd is around the 2:44 mark. This person....ok, I'll let ya'll watch but all I know is that they need to quit that with a quickness! lol I guess it's better than going Freddy Krueger on them but still......
Anywho....I went to check out the Bourne Ultimatum last night. This was a really great movie and Matt Damon is as sessy as eva!!! The fight scenes with one of the "assets"/assasins had me on the edge of my seat....for real for real! I wish this movie series could go on forever like James Bond but from what I've heard/read this is it.....bummer. Soooo, like I said....good flick, go check it out! Here's a preview to the movie. Please excuse that little voice you hear within the clip that keeps sayin "Matt Damon". lol Someone embedded one of the voices from "Team America: World Police" into the clip. It's quite funny to me as that part of the (Team America) movie always makes me crack up laughing.
Late post addition:
I was just reading CreoleInDC's post about her encounter with a gas station attendant. I cracked up laughing. Not at her experience but because it made me think about my experience I had Friday morning. I stopped by a gas station that morning to grab a bottle of grapefruit juice because my throat was feeling a bit parched.
I walk in the store and speak to the guy behind the counter.
Me: good morning
Him: jibberish
**I just smiled and kept moving. I was trying to get in, find my drank, and get out. lol**
Him: (at the counter) jibberish
**His accent (he was hispanic) was so thick and he was talking so fast I didn't understand him.**
Me: Come again?
Him: You're beautiful, you have a nice car, and you have no ring on....what happened?
Me: Thank you, thank you, you're way too nosey, I have a boyfriend, now how much is my drink?
Him: Oh okay....nevermind.
I cracked up laughing when I got in the car. People never ceased to amaze me.
Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

How Ya Like Me Now?
I decided to switch it up a little in my space. I stayed with the green theme because that is my current favorite color. However, I could no long deal with exorcist neon green....it was irkin the devil outta me. Maybe that wasn't such a bad thing. Isn't that the purpose of exorcisms? Ne-who, I like this template a little better. It's kinda boring but I'll keep around for awhile until I get sick of it. I call myself checkin everything out to make sure all the lil bells and whistles were back working, sooooooo if you guys experience any malfunctions let ya girl know and will get on it.
It's going to be over 100 degrees here for the rest of the week. I wish I had one of those remotes Adam Sandler has in the movie "Click" so I could fast forward past this heatwave.
