- Alexis is totally jealous and hatin' on the other housewives.
- Why she's not capable of functioning without her husband for a few hours during a dinner is outside of my realm of comprehension.
- Her husband is a controlling ass. Personally, I would enjoy the time away (from him) but that's just me.
- Sooooooooooooo, my sister is preggers.........ah-gane. Yep the one that had this bundle of joy.
- She hasn't told our mom yet as she is not ready to hear her opinionated reaction. LOL!
- For her sake, I hope it's not another boy but as long as he\she is healthy that's all that really matters.
- To this day, Mistah and I STILL crack up laughing at this. Don't let the song come on the radio. #stickaforkinme
- Remember this dude? I sent the anonymous letter. He's still wreaks. I no longer work with him in any capacity (other than being in the same building) but occasionally see him and catch a whiff of that funky stuff.
- Speaking of work, we're going through yet another re-org. Thankfully, this time with no job loss. I'm currently working on two teams. One temporarily until who knows when. Temp team wants to keep me (and quite honestly it makes more sense for me to be with that group) but office politics has gotten in the way of that. So for now, I'm with them until I'm not. Then it's back to my permanent team. So retarded but hey I still have a job.
- This chick is still bamming folks. It brings me mucho joy.
- Remember my BFF's knight in rusty armor? Guess what? He's back in jail for (practically) the exact same shit he did before. He had a wreck while drinking and driving in the car with their child......ag-gane. My words to her, "I love you and usually refrain from telling you (and others) how to live your life but don't let that nigga back in your house or your life." There was, undoubtedly, A LOT more to that convo but that statement pretty much summed up how I feel.
- It really sucks because she has such a big heart and is WAY nicer than I can ever imagine being. That big heart sometimes gets in the way of her using good judgement. I fear that once he gets out (this summer), that she'll take him back.
- Ummmmmm, what else?
- Tornados watch\warnings\sirens=scary
- Rain=peaceful until it ain't. (see above)
- Beyond ready for vacation this summer.
- Osama Bin Laden is dead.

A little bit of this....a little bit of that
Ay yo! So I'm sitting here watching RHOC and decided that I should blog. Soooooo random!

A little bit of this, a little bit of that..............
- So I'm in Memphis....not quite bored to tears but I am ready to go home. What?! I didn't say this would be fun. Ah well, I must grin and bear it. :)
- My FB peeps already know this but no fancy cable=no Bravo network=I missed the RHOA season premiere last night (and will miss any and everything else on Bravo that I want to watch this week....and next). *drops two tears in a bucket*
- I've still got E! though so I can watch my beloved Chelsea Lately and Joan Rivers on Fashion Police. Both of those hags crack me up.
- Speaking of, hookers start hookin' early around these here parts and apparently are quite ambitious too. I stopped to get gas yesterday and witnessed the most bold act (my eyes have ever seen) of entrepreneurial spirit ever. Can you say tip drill?

I'm so pissed.................
at my sister right now I could SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always known she was an idiot but she confirmed it for me this morning.
Long story short. After she (and my aunt (my mom's half sister)) spoke with the doctor yesterday afternoon, he explained what all he had done. During the conversation, he also explains that while the surgery was successful it wasn't necessarily needed (i.e. the situation wasn't as critical as it was made out to be). So now she and my aunt are thinking she did it for attention.
*SIGH*
Okay, whatever. My take? Well, it's done now. Right? Right. I got the impression from my mom that she felt it was needed so that's all I really needed to know.
My sister on the hand? Weeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllll, she's mad at our mom for having the surgery and is refusing to take off work next week to sit with her (like we all agreed two weeks ago). She'd take the first full week, me the second and my oldest sister the third. After that, we figured she'd be at the half-way recovery mark so if the doc cleared it, she would come back down to our house and stay with us (in AR) for as long as she needed.
She claims since the cut was not horizontal versus vertical that it shouldn't take her as long to recover and that she would be fine as long as she wrapped some band around her stomach and moved around. And I quote, "As long as she doesn't get dizzy or anything, it will be okay. I had to do it, she can do it too".
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I don't want to speak with her again but I'm sure all three of us will be on the phone hashing it out this evening. I doubt if she'll change her mind so I'm sure I'll be working remotely from Memphis for two weeks straight since my other sister won't be able to maneuver as easily with three small kids.
Bottom line: she had the surgery, she needs to be looked after. Our relationship is far from perfect but when push comes to shove, she's still our mother.
As you can see, I needed to vent. And now for a musical selection...........

o_O
And who prey tell will be there to know if she is you f'in MORON???????!!!!!!! And for the record, you were in your 20's....she's damn near SEVENTY YEARS OLD!!! BIG DIFFERENCE.....HUGE!
This was just one of many lame ass reasons she gave.

Mama update.........
Mama's out of surgery. Everything looks good and is more importantly BENIGN!!!!
Thank you Lord!!!
And thanks to all of you that left kind words and prayed on her behalf.

My mama...................
Please say a prayer, send up good thoughts, be hopeful for my mother today as she goes into surgery.
Long story short, she had a partial hysterectomy after I was born and they are going in to finish the job today. Because of other issues she's been having, the doctor will also be checking out other stuff to make sure there is no cancer involved.
I'm scared but am trying HARD to stay in the positive.

Take it or leave it........
After we got to Memphis Saturday, I informed my mom that the kids had about $100 left from the money their parents had sent down with them. She advised me that I should keep it. I told her that wouldn't be right and that I wasn't comfortable with keeping money that was not intended for me. Now if I found some money in bank bag in the parking lot of a store.....totally different. LOL!!
Mama: Well if you don't want it, I'll take it.
Me: (head cocked to side side) Mother, really..........*sigh*
Mama: I'm just saying with the time and gas you spent picking them up and dropping them back off it's only fair. How about I have a conversation with her in private about it?
Me: Ummmmmm, no. It's not that serious.
Mama: Suit yourself.
I was talking with Mistah about it after I returned and he said that he agreed with my mom. Along with the things she mentioned, he stated that I had taken a week off from work to do this and had dedicated seven full days to caring for these kids. And even though it was paid time, it was still time that I didn't have to take off if I didn't want to.
Exactly. I didn't have to. I could have told her no at any point but I chose to do it. Actually the original plan was for them to drive down to our house and pick the boys up. I opted to drive them back because I wanted peace and rest during the remainder of the weekend. Adding two additional adults (one of which probably would have wanted to cover the entire central AR area visiting folks during the short time she was here) and an eight month old child to the mix would have definitely not allowed that to happen.
$100 is a lot of money to me but not enough to create unnecessary drama....especially when it wasn't mine in the first place.
What about ya'll? Would you have taken the money?

Mission BBA(s): Wrap-Up
Yep, that's right. I'm totally lumping all remaining days into one. It's been a whirlwind since day four. Soooooooooo, let's see.
So after the early day birthday celebration, as planned, we took the kiddos to the go-cart place. With them still being so young, we had to do the double cart thing so Mistah and I could drive them around the track. All was going well until I phucked sh!t up! As I was bringing the cart into the bay, I misjudged the spacing between the space the cart goes in and the cement block that separates the lanes where the carts are parked. Here's a pic to give you an idea of what I mean.

Unfortunately for us, there were no tires in front of the thing to help soften the blow. Also, I wasn't going that fast so that helped BUT that crap still hurt!!! BBA #2 was riding with me and suffered the fate of my mind blowing go-cart skills. I was so shocked by what I had just done that I didn't even notice him crying at first. After checking him over, he said that only his tongue hurt (from where his teeth bit it) and he was off with the birthday boy to play video games for awhile. Mistah didn't help matters by laughing at me (in private) saying that I looked like a crash test dummy from behind and proceeded to demonstrate the slow motion version of our motor vehicle accident....bastid. Anyway, we went back out for round two and BBA#2 stated emphatically that he no longer wanted to ride with me but Mistah. LOL Hey, I can't blame him. I gave BBA#2 some kids med's and checked him over the next morning to make sure he was still ok. Luckily, he said only his tongue still hurt. Unluckily for me, I was sore as hell!!!! *growls* Thank goodness I have a back supply of prescribed medication to help with things of this nature. :D
After the birthday shenanigans, I took them to a few places in Little Rock the next day one of which was my place of employment. We had 'the best behavior talk' prior to going in. I swear it was like talking to deaf children because nothing I said took. They lived up to their name and showed their complete and total Billy Bad Asses!!!! After hightailing it out of there with my tail between my legs, we had another talk in the car about what was going to transpire once we arrived back home. Yep, that's right! I had to beat some Billy Bad Ass! As with all kids I imagine, they thought I had forgotten as they were asking about watching cartoons and slip and sliding again.
I made them sit in the reflection corner (thanks Super Nanny), gave them another talk (I still don't think it sunk in), made their dinner, gave baths and put.them.to.bed!
Friday was their last full day and it was extremely low key. So low key, that I can't even remember what we did other than taking them next door to visit with my (elderly) neighbors cleaning up and watching Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakquel. *sigh*
And then they were gone. We left around 9'ish Saturday morning to take them back to Memphis to reunite with their parents and little brother (who is oh so cute and juicy for an eight month old). He looks a lot like BBA#3 only darker (more like my complexion for those of you that know what I look like). My sister suggested that since the baby will be older next year that she send all three of them down next year. Ya'll know I'm never one to shy away at laughing at a hilarious moment so I proceeded to cackle in her face and call her crazy. She shouldn't even let that thought cross her mind again until that child is closer to three or four years of age.
While I do miss them, I am quite happy to have my life back to normal. No more cartoons, no more Fruit Loops, no more kids!!! YAY!!!!!!!

Mission BBA(s): Day Four
First, I would like to give a shout out to Gorgeous P. and K.Rock for bestowing me with the honor of the Versatile Blogger award! And here I thought I was just a one trick pony.....not to be confused with My Little Pony. Now I just have to remember where I saw that little picture so I can showcase it on the blog. :D
So today is BBA #3's big day....his 5th birthday! He informed all in the household yesterday, that once he woke up that everyone would have to sing him the happy birthday song and give him presents.
Oh really now?!
So today is BBA #3's big day....his 5th birthday! He informed all in the household yesterday, that once he woke up that everyone would have to sing him the happy birthday song and give him presents.
Oh really now?!I'll cut him some slack since today is his birthday but that child (smh and LOL at the same time) has a bad case of 'got a mouth full of want and a hand full of nothin'-itis. At any rate, today has been a good day so far. I did a bit of decorating for him last night and arranged his gifts so he would walk in and see them on display. Of course, all he saw were the presents............LOL. After he played for a bit with his brother and took his birthday calls, we went to a matinee showing of 'Despicable Me'. AWESOME movie! I don't watch kid flicks all that often but this one ranks right up there with 'The Incredibles'. I still love watching that movie.
Afterward, I took them out to lunch at the best little fast food place in the world.....Chick-fil-A! We made a quick pit stop in the restroom and I got to experience one of those embarrassing moments that mother's often speak of. The stall that we went in had a combination of post BM\women folk odor. BBA #3 proceeds to exclaim, "Aunt AR Gal it stinks in here! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!". I had to laugh to keep from crying because the lady that funked it up had just walked out of the stall and well it really did stink.

Once Mistah gets home from work and I wake them up from their nap (both of which should be occurring any minute now) , we'll do the cake thing and then take them to the go cart place once the sun goes down a bit.
I just hope he doesn't throw up again.
Until tomorrow (or something close to it)................

Mission BBA(s): Day Two & Three
I's tyred..........but I don't know why. Now that I sit here thinking about everything that we've done it really hasn't been that much but it seems like we have just been going, and going, and going. Energizer Bunny Game Proper.
The day seems to pass by sooooooooooooo quickly. The fact that I'm still waking up at my normal time of five am isn't helping matters much. First you have to feed them breakfast and keep them entertained by planning an activity or letting them watch Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, PBS or one of the dvd's they brought along. By the time I've gotten them fed, the kitchen cleaned, clothes laid out and ironed for the days outing, teeth brushed, faces washed and all that jazz, it's time for lunch and dinner. *sigh* At any rate, I'm convinced that if we ever decide to have kids that being a stay at home mom is out of the question (like we could afford it with the high cost of daycare but whatever).
Ya'll don't care about my troubles though, you want to know about the kids right? Right. The Cliffnotes version is as follows:

Ya'll don't care about my troubles though, you want to know about the kids right? Right. The Cliffnotes version is as follows:
- Sunday we went bowling. Everyone had a good time and we all got at least one strike in.
- There were plans to take them to the park this morning (not an indoor activity I know but it's not so bad as long as it's early) but those were pushed back until tomorrow due to unforeseen circumstances.
- I found a cake. Actually, it's a mini-cake surrounded by cupcakes. It's really cute, colorful and fits the bill.
- Today we went to the place I had been hearing about non-stop since I picked them up in M-Town.....Ju-mp Z-one. It's the bees knees around here. Actually, it's nothing more than a bunch of inflated play areas in a building.
- I wish I had to the funds to open one. They make bank!
- I let them run free for a little over three hours. I made sure to stop by the Wal--Mart-s and get some magazines to read before I let time slip away.
- They are really some entertaining kids. BBA #3's rendition of 'There Goes My Baby' would make you feel emotion even if you had no soul. Hilarious!
- Speaking of, he got to speak with his kinda sorta girlfriend on the phone Saturday. The convo was going great until I heard, 'so are you my girlfriend now or what?'. They are gonna have issues with that one.
- He's a tattle-tale too. Three days in and now I just ignore him.

Mission BBA(s): Day One
Soooooooooooo, Billy Bad Ass numbers two and three are here for the week. Day one was most uneventful as they spent quite a bit of time being chauffeured from their great-aunts house to my mom's house (aka my granny's (RIP) house) to hang out for a bit then to my house.
I was dreading the (two plus hour) drive because those two can TALK!!! All praises to the most high for making it so our bodies need sleep because that's exactly what they did 10 minutes after we got in the car until we arrived in town.

I still have to go get this child a birthday cake (cupcake and/or random sweet something or another). I didn't want to buy it too soon but I don't want to wait until say his birthday to get it either. I think I'll be safe getting one tomorrow or Tuesday.
I haven't a clue as to what today's activities will involve other than they will be strictly INDOOR!
I hope ya'll are having a restful weekend cause guess what? I AIN'T!
And now for a musical selection...............................

I suck...............
So BBA numbers two and three made an impromptu visit with Granny (my mom) yesterday. The plan was for me to take my mom's car to the airport (she left it at the house so she wouldn't have to pay for parking) and they would ride out to Memphis. After speaking with her yesterday afternoon before the plane took off, I pretty much knew they would be staying the night. Apparently getting through security with two small children was enough to tire her out. Hell it would probably tire me out too. After returning to the house, I got the kids fed and took them over to the school next door so they could play and run off some of their energy and excitement from seeing
BBA number two headed over to the another piece of play equipment to enjoy the last few minutes and surprisingly BBA number three followed. I walked over to join them and BBA number three announces "I SUCK".
Me: No you don't. What would make you say that?
BBA number three: Aunt AR Gal, I suuuuuuuuuuck
Me: *thinking what the hell*
BBA number two: He's saying he's sick
Me: Really? How the h..... thanks for telling me.
Sooooooooooo, I go and ask him where it hurts and he points to his belly.
Me: Do you have to boo boo?
BBA number three: Yes I have to boo boo
Me: Okay, we're leaving now.
He then proceeds to hurl chunks of the dinner and ice cream he had eaten.
Me: *screaming on the inside* BBA number two, let's go.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd he hurls again with bigger chunks.
Me: *turning his body the opposite way while secretly praying, please don't get it on me, please don't get it on me, please don't get it on meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*
Nothing on this planet is as gross to me than seeing someone throw up. I mean really, it's disgusting.
After Vomitgate, we haul ass back to the house. I want to pick him but (1) he's heavy and (2) I really don't want this kid blowing chunks down my back or worse...in my hair! I started to call Mistah but then thought better of it. What if he does it in the car? OMG, ew. Good thing we only live less than a quarter of a mile from the school. Once we got close enough, I put my big girl panties on and picked him up but not after asking five times if he had to throw up any more.
We made it back to the house without any further incident and BBA number two and three were promptly given a bath and put.to.bed.
If this is a preview of what's to come, I'm in trouble.

Juicy Fruit

Here's a pic of the baby (my nephew). He turned five months old this past Sunday. Isn't he the cutest juiciest little thing?!
I posted this on FB earlier this week. Some folks seemed to think that I had given birth.
AS IF!
If I ever do, I hope the kid turns out as cute and healthy as him. Too bad you can't go pick up newborns at the store. I'd probably have a house full if that were the case....especially if they were on the clearance rack.
And now for a musical selection.......................

I'm..................
- ..................on week 1 of my two day work week extravaganza. Next week, it's just another Monday and Tuesday then I'm gone until the beginning of the year. YES!!
- ..................sitting at home on my couch watching 'Maury'.
- ..................wondering if this lady on the show has a glass eye. It looks peculiar.
- ..................not packing my suitcase to leave town tomorrow like I should be.
- ..................now wondering what I should pack. It shouldn't take too long to figure out. It's not like we will be going to the club. T-shirts and jeans should do the trick.
- ..................actually excited to see the kids and my sister. Not in a 'We're going to Disney World' sort of way but I'm ready to see them. My brother-in-law.....not so much.
- ..................often wonder why she chose him as her husband. He's an idiot....and ugly....like Dwayne Wayne but worse. I don't have to sleep with him though so whatev. LOL
- .................going to do better about volunteering my time in 2010. I've fallen off in a BIG way.
- .................debating when we should go up to Memphis. My sisters kids (the ones in Memphis not to be confused with the other kids I'm going to see tomorrow in STL) leave to go to their fathers house the day after Christmas so time is limited IF I want to get them their presents before the 25th. If not, I can always just leave them with their mom or drive to Pine Bluff to give them their stuff afterward. I hate PB. It stinks there. No it really stinks like Pepe LePew.
- ...............sure I'll figure it out at the last minute.
- ...............also debating if I should take my laptop or not. I'm leaning more towards not. I've still got my cell (and my sisters laptop) if I want to surf the web. :D
- ................hoping I don't forget to take the camera tomorrow. I guess that why I should be packing. I need to make a list because I already know I will forget something. Here's hoping it's not some draws.
- ................done Christmas shopping with exception of a gift for my mom and the kids up north. Guess that means I'm not really done.
- ...............actually really good at shopping for gifts for others. I just don't particularly like doing it.
- ...............still a little salty about the gift I initially received at our Dirty Santa function at work the other day. I purchased a couple of cute wrap scarves (only $8 for two) to gift. After it was all said and done I walked away with some homemade jelly. Ummmmm, that's nice and all but I only eat apple jelly (and SOMETIMES grape if I have to). I traded with someone (after the function) that actually likes the jelly and received the travel mug she won.
- .................going Dollar Tree on their asses next year for a gift. Fool me once........
- .................about to get off of here for a little while. I just remembered an errand I need to run.

Give it to me baby!!
Big sister numero uno is currently in labor with baby boy numero tres. I got word from my mom yesterday about the latest member of the AR Gal clan trying to enter into the world. So far, it's only labor pains (her water has yet to break). How long must one endure that torture before someone with common sense just breaks the sac to get it over with? I have no idea. Mother's fill me in and I'll be sure to call her doctor to tell him/her to get their job! At any rate, he should be here by the weekend.....I hope. Keep your fingers and toes crossed that mama and baby make it through safe and sound.
In somewhat related news, I am currently watching the show "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" on TLC. Two of the women conceived children while taking antibiotics and on birth control. Both were unaware that this 'dangerous' combination makes you more susceptible to pregnancy without a backup contraceptive. Ironically, both bundles of joy were plopped into a toilet as their mommies mistook them for constipation poops. I for one am glad that I was able to view these informative episodes and felt it was my duty as a woman to share this with others who, like myself, may not have known. Z has been informed that there will be NO sex in the champagne if I find myself in this predicament. Besides, if you're sick you shouldn't want to do it anyway....right? RIGHT!
UPDATE: My nephew Ryan Alexander was born 11/18/09 at 11:58 pm weighing in at 6 lbs. and ?? oz (I forgot what my mama said). Baby and mommy are doing great!
UPDATE ON THE UPDATE: Just talked to my sister. She delivered this child naturally (without the assistance of any drugs (totally her choice by the way)) and is already up and about to email pictures out. WTH? Now that she has delivered her last child, she is most excited about her upcoming journey of getting her flat stomach back. LOL

Family Reunion and Roots........................
The reunion was pretty much everything I expected it to be. I got a chance to meet and reconnect with my extended family and recalled a few faces from my childhood. I still don't know them but at this point I at least know we are related so if I see them in the street I can speak. lol While there, most of the folks in charge of this reunion had an impromptu meeting to discuss when the next reunion would take place (next year or the year after). It was decided to have it in 2010 since the matriarch (and oldest living member) of our family is up there in age (about 95 or 96). It was even suggested to have something with her prior to next summer as my (2nd or 3rd) cousin so eloquently stated, when you get that old a year is equivalent to 5. LMAO I got my bluntness honestly. The gathering was actually supposed to be in her honor but her child that cares for her was unable to make it so the show went on just without her.You may (or may not) be wondering why I haven't laid eyes on these folks in years. Let me lay a bit of foundation just so you'll know what's what. My great grandparents had a total of 10 kids, one boy (who died as a baby) and 9 girls that followed. My grandmother was the 3rd, no wait 4th born. She had only one child, my father, who passed away when my mom was carrying me. Got it? Cool. So, when she passed away her WILL stated that most everything went to the kids and some other things went to her sisters. Makes good sense right? Yeah to me too. Anyway, her sisters decided that what they did get was not enough so these batty heifers took us to court. Yeah you read that right....TO COURT.
Ain't that some shit for your ass?
I really don't know why they felt the need to go to such extremes especially since my grannie was not wealthy AT.ALL. Never mind yes I do, can you say GREED?? Now that I that I think about it, I recall them saying that they felt like they weren't appropriately compensated for all the help they provided to my grandmother during her illness (she had breast cancer).
Again I say, ain't that some shit for your ass???
I didn't realize that compensation was expected when you voluntarily helped one during an illness and on their deathbed. Especially when it's your own flesh and blood. Anyway, I can't recall all the details of the verdict but I do remember having to auction her house, the items in it and having to split the earnings with them. She had a lot of antique stuff too that would have gotten good money in this day and age. With the exception of my oldest sister, we were still school age. My mom was so outdone by the entire ordeal she just said fugg it and rolled with the (gut) punches. As you can imagine, our contact with them going forward was few and far in between....hence why I haven't seen them in forever in a day. My mom still kept in contact with them (primarily the remaining sister because she lived in the same town as us) but me for the most part.......ehhhhhhhhh no.
Now I figure that was the past, this is now and even if I never go to another reunion I still made an effort. Tell me why I just realized that we didn't get a t-shirt??!! WTH!!

A little bit of this, a little bit of that
My b-day weekend was fun!
Hung out with the girls Saturday… No one remembered to bring a camera. Oh well
The jury is still out on me and sushi. One kind I liked and the other was just well….nasty.
Ladynay, they didn’t have the brown rice sushi roll you recommended. :(
I’ll probably give it another go sometime in the (distant) future.
We then went down to another spot so we could, as my friend put it ‘really eat’. LMAO
FYI for anyone in the central AR area. The caribbean jerk and whiskey honey wings at Big Whiskey’s in the River Market are soooooooooooooooooo good!!!!
I got lots of calls on my b-day, cards, and cash (the people that love me really know my heart).
I got a new laptop for my b-day compliments of me and Z! He went half on an e-baby with me…awwwwwwwwwwwwww!
I didn’t get my cupcakes….boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
I did however get an all chocolate cake…yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!! We didn't eat it all. I brought the rest to work so these leeches could take care of that.
He said he couldn’t find any specifically how I requested. All chocolate (icing and all).
Translation: he waited until the last damn minute to try and get some.
We went out to eat and came home to chill out for the rest of the day.
Family reunion (on my dad’s side) is this weekend.
I haven’t seen most of these people in years (haven't met some of them at all) and honestly wouldn’t know them if I did.
I have vague memories of the last reunion I went to when I was about 6 or 7. It was in the country in MS somewhere. I think I had fun. Lol I was little so I’m sure I probably did.
I really don’t have any expectation other than getting to know the other side of my family a bit better. The only people we truly associated with are all dead now with the exception of my grandmother’s remaining living sister who now lives in TX with her kids.
I need to make sure I have something to sit under during the picnic. Side effect of lupus = little or no sunlight exposure. I feel like a vampire. They should cast me on ‘True Blood’.
I bet my mama is going to try and get me to take her down to the casino. I just may take her up on it. I’ll take my winnings in cash, no check please and thank you!
I’m sure I’ll be ready to go after a couple of hours. That’s about how long it usually takes my attention and $20 I take to dwindle down. WHAT? I am not going to hand over my all my hard earned money all willy nilly to those folks! If I win $50, I’m doing it big!!
I took yesterday and Friday off this week. 3 day work week beeshes!!!!
If only they could all be like that.
I made chicken alfredo last night and threw in some homemade pico de gallo that was gifted. OMG, it was soooooooooooo good!!!
I think I may just have to swallow my words and get a FB account. I KNOW!! Shocker!!! I do believe my mama has one and that just ain’t kosher to have her out doing me! I’ll let ya’ll know if I decide to take a walk on the wild side.
I still can't believe iniquitous 1 (aka Nikki Indigo) has passed away. Thoughts of her and her work have lingered on my mind since reading the news. I was mainly a lurker on her blog but the power of her words always left an impression with me.
Ok, this post has suddenly become too damn long. What the hell is going on with ya’ll?

Ummmm.......
......so I'm sitting on the couch web surfing while the kids watch *picks up the remote to look at show information* the Wizards of Waverly Palace. I just noticed that only one of the two is watching as the youngest (see kid in the blue shirt in the post below) is talking to himself....or someone else. I think he has an imaginary friend.
*keeps listening....from a distance*

This is Pinnacle Mountain.....
view from the very top!

and this is me (and Emma) at the very top!!

WHAT?! You didn't actually think I'd show my face! lol This was actually the best pic of me. Z is not the greatest photographer and kept snapping my pic when I was taking pics or when I had crazy facial expressions. I have advised him not to quit his day job! lol
I did actually go all the way this time and it wasn't that far from where I stopped the last time we climbed. I will have to keep that in mind when and if I feel like throwing in the towel next go round. It was very windy as you can see by my hair whipping around but the cooler weather seemed to be to my benefit. I'm SO not a tropical person and prefer cold temps -vs- walking around sweating in the heat all day. Anyway, we stayed up there for about 10 or 15 minutes and headed back down, came home, and crashed hard.
All and all, it was a good way to spend part of the day. I can honestly say, I look forward to doing it again.......while it's cold. lol

Thank God It’s Friday!!
I’m sitting at work right now and the power is out so what better time to post! I’m on my laptop and the battery is really low so I hope that I am able to get this put up before it dies out on me.
Work has been kickin my butt like a slave with calluses on their feet. One of my pet peeves about places of employment are companies that thrive on having unnecessary meetings. I mean really, how do you expect for folks to complete assigned tasks from one meeting if you are having to rush off to another right after the one you just left? Oh vey!! And since when is needle pointing in a meeting kosher??!! Yes, one of the folks, a regional director no less, was sitting in there chillin’ getting her multi-task on! Lol At first I thought she was about to floss her teeth because all I saw was a string hanging from her mouth. The closer I looked; I realized she was threading the needle. It sounds crazy but that is the type of environment I work in. They encourage stuff like that because they know people get bored having to sit for hours at a time discussing strategies (ie the same ish over and over). It’s probably just me and I just need to loosen up but dammit if that’s still not awkward as hell! lol
Anyway, enough of that! I ventured off to M-town last weekend to kick it with my mom and 3 and 4 year old nephews. I do believe I have filled my quota of Disney channel, cartoon network, and piggy back rides for the rest of this year. Needless to say those tiny tots wore me out. I swear if anything ever comes through this birth canal of mine, I truly hope it’s a girl ‘cause boys are ROUGH!!! One was kung foo fighting, the other was tryin to wrestle, both were whining and fallin out on the floor when they didn’t get their way (da hell???). Auntie had enough and called for both of them to go sat their asses down somewhere. I’m not used to all that commotion and noise. Auntie likes peace, quiet, and serenity and I was just WAY outside of my comfort level. What better way to cure that than a nap! One for me, and two for them! YAY!!! After they woke it up, it seemed to rid them of the evil that was lurkin within and they both regained some sense and sensibility. Sunday was a risne and repeat of Saturday but different. We got to go to Chucky Cheese to celebrate my 3 year old nephews birthday (he turned 3 on the 4th). WHOOPEEEEE!!! It actually wasn’t that bad. I’m guessing it’s because it was on a Sunday *shrugs shoulders* Anyway, we had fun, the kids had a lot of fun and my other nephew and niece showed up. I’ll have to post the vid when I get home of them dancing in front of the CC camera. Hilarious! Lol
Anyway, lemme shut this sucker down because the battery is on it’s last leg.
Have a good weekend!
