Your blood pressure will thank you…………..

Those are the words I said to my friend last week after telling her to quit fussin’ with her 3 year old. I have never understood why folks choose to argue with someone that is just beyond infancy. I seriously can’t wrap my head around it.

She is one of those people. If we are on the phone and her little boy is around, she spends more time fussin’ at and with him than holding a conversation. I find this really strange (not to mention annoying) seeing as the kid has not quite mastered the fine art of basic conversation yet. I personally think that this also creates a bad habit. I’m a firm believer in a kid staying in a kids place and by showing him that he can interrupt her all willy nilly and push her buttons like that is setting a bad example. That’s just me though. Usually he mostly just yells and screams and most times she reciprocates. Lol Needless to say her son has a rather challenging personality (ie, he is bad as hell). Sometimes I will entertain our phone chats, other times I will not. It truly depends on my mood and how much I believe I can withstand from the two of them.

Remember back when I helped her out with the baby shower last summer? Well after that we went to get her kid and to visit with one of our buddies from college. To make a long story short, as we were getting ready to leave I reach to pick him up and he has a fit and starts kicking and flailing. I put him down instantly. This child proceeds to then fall out on the floor in front of the front door. Meanwhile, his mama is trying to reason with him and threatening to spank him (yeah right). I had my keys in my hand, so I just step over him and walk outside and told my friend I’d be ready when she got him settled in the car. Lol I just can’t take all of that hollerin!

Now, this is just me but it seems that it would be much easier to just put the kid on ignore status. Like seriously, pay him/her no attention and just let them fall out, have the tantrum, whatever. Granted I have no children of my own but my niece and nephews have tried this on more than one occasion whenever I was around. I have no tolerance for that kind of stuff, AT ALL, so guess what I did. Yep, I just walked the hell off and let them do their thing. Guess what else? They got over it (especially when they realized that I wasn’t stuttin’ them). Lol I dunno, like I said, I don’t have kids so all this shit I’m talking may fall by the wayside if I ever decide to berf a baby but I’m holding strong for now.

How do I put this nicely?

My boss....*DEEP HEAVY ASS SIGH*

She’s one of those extremely touch feely people. I DETEST touchy feely people (unless your name is Z and you’re about to put it on me). She’s the type that likes touching your arm, rubbing your shoulder, or patting your thigh when speaking during conversation. Hey! That kinda sounds like grounds for sexual harassment…who’s with me?? Okay…I’m obviously reaching but still the crap irks me to no end. My normal reaction is to move my body away from her touch. I’ll jerk a hand away, move a leg, take a huge step back. etc, etc., etc. I really thought I was doing a good job at making it obvious so that she would catch on. Many months later she has not and now the time has come for me to issue the give me fifty feet verbal warning.

So come on, hit me with your best shot in the comments and tell me the perfect thing to say. If you don’t, I will be forced to go with bitch get off me! You wouldn’t want that now would you?

A little bit of this...a little bit of that

  • I saved $12.05 with the help of coupons at the grocery store yesterday. I am shooting for $15 next time. There are a lot of great websites that help. I came upon this one last week and it was really helpful. They sometimes have posts dedicated to free stuff that you can get online. It usually just requires you filling out a brief questionnaire and your address info for you to receive your free sample/stuff/whatever.
  • I really hate that Memphis State (or U of M for all you newbie’s) didn’t make it to the NCAA final two again this year.
  • Just when I get all of my fingernails to the almost perfect length, a couple of them break. UGH!!!
  • I watched bits and pieces of “Sex in the City” (the movie) 3 times this weekend. Between those 3 times, I was able to see the entire movie…just not all at one time. The first hour of it is the best IMO.
  • My mom is coming to visit Easter weekend. She doesn’t want me cooking a lot of food just because of her visit. I let her know that wouldn’t be a problem. Lol
  • I think I may make a pot roast (or get mama to make it…shut it) or just go out to eat that weekend.
  • My mom loves to snack on the following food combos: chips and dip, chips and burnt (yes burnt) popcorn, or burnt popcorn. I’ll have to remind her to try to not to burn it while she is visiting as I cannot stand that smell. I ironically have all of these items at the house right now. I guess I got it from my mama.
  • I need to run and get my niece a b-day card today so I can throw some cash in it and send it off so it makes it to Memphis in time. I’m not really a fan of looking for gifts for special occasions (I will however pick something up if the price is right and I think it’s a good fit for the person). I’d rather give you money to get what you want.
  • She will be 15 Thursday. Wow. She was just 2…..*smh*
  • I still remember being 15 like it was yesterday. Where did the time (and my youth) go?
  • I saw a preview for a movie on tv this weekend about a man that reverts back to his 17 year self (in looks only). I could go for that. I’ve learned a lot since I was 17 (plus my tummy was flatter back then, lol).
  • I need to do some crunches.
  • I think the DVD player in the den is broken.
  • Where the hell am I supposed to do Tae-Bo at now? There’s not enough room in the bedroom.
  • I don’t know why I’m worried, it’s not like I did it last week. I stuck to walking or vegging out on the couch.
  • I guess we can just move the one in the bedroom to the den if it is broken. It’s not like we use that one much anyway.
  • I had to get new rotors and brake pads on the car this weekend. It’s been the best $234 I’ve spent this year. That wobbly steering wheel was starting to irk the shit outta me.
  • If your steering wheel vibrates (vigorously) when you press down on your brakes, you probably need some too. Lol
  • I got to Mid-ass early Saturday morning so I could get in and out. After waiting 45 minutes for them to show up, I left and went to another place I always forget about.
  • I’m going to start going to them all the time for car maintenance. Their cheaper and quicker!
  • How did I forget about them again?????
  • I’m already ready for Friday.

My instincts never fail.........

Tuesday morning I was welcomed to a warm and fuzzy email advising me, and all my colleagues near and far, that a 2nd round of layoffs were on the way. My spidey sense usually doesn't fail and this time was no different as I figured this would happen (1) because the economy has passed the crapper and made it's way to the sewage, (2) receiving an email from massa requesting a time audit is never a good sign, and (3)the first round didn't eliminate enough people. I know that sounds harsh but when you are trying to cut costs, 5 people just won't do. You wouldn't have to make a 25 on the ACT's to figure that one out (is that even a high ACT score? I wouldn't know 'cause math ain't never been my friend.)

Needless to say, the mood at the plantation has been somewhat somber. Folks are doing their best to maintain and put their best foot forward but hey there's only so much fakin you can do when your job is at risk. I've been through this layoff thing a couple of times before (and have even been fired once before) and it doesn't get any easier. Losing your job is never easy but losing a job in this economy...maaaaaaaaan it's gotta be a different experience. And if my layoff pro-fashional tail can be honest, it's an experience that I'd prefer to keep as a part of my past.

One lady I was riding on the elevator with today made a comment (in an effort to make me feel better I suppose) that our department can't get any smaller (there are currently only four of us). I answered, "Yeah, I guess" because I didn't really want to get too deep. I was a floor away from my stop and had no time to chat it up.

Sidenote: The TV is on Fox and American Idol is on. I need to know who put that atrocious wig on Lil Rounds head. It looks like the stay puff marshmallow man went grunge and died on her head.

Anyway, so in my head I was thinking, just because we are a small department doesn't mean we won't be subject to dismissal. Hell, they may decide to do away with all of us. I'm laughing as I type but hey it could happen. The first go round wasn't even supposed to happen, let them tell it, but one day 5 folks just up and lost their jobs and that was all they wrote. What I do hope is that I get to keep my job but also that they don't delay this process any longer than necessary. To cover their butts, they've given themselves until the end of our FY (which is not until the end of June) to make the cuts.....*sigh*. I am certain they are they are reviewing "critical" positions now. And to cover my butt, I've been applying for other jobs. lol I did notice my boss having a meeting with her boss and the big boss the other day. I was going to wait until our regularly scheduled meeting next week to ask but I need to know...like now. My intent was to do it today but both of our schedules have been SO freaking hectic (that's supposed to be a good sign right?). I would have walked away disappointed because she wouldn't have had to time to go into depth like I would want.

Sooooooooo, that's that. Once we go through this next round, I think that will be it as far as layoffs. They have to have enough people in place to actually do the work. And since our work is raising money, it's not gonna happen if they don't at least have a skeleton crew in place. Wish me luck. :)

Afternoon at the Movies: Knowing

GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!

Mkay, now that I have that out of the way, this is hands down the BEST movie I have seen in quite some time. It has all the right ingredients and is worth the money (matinee, regular price, or bootleg) to watch. I would recommend that you go check it out on the big screen first though to get the full effect. I'll be totally honest in saying that I wasn't that thrilled to go and see this. Whenever I hear Nicolas Cage's name, I automatically think thriller "fluff". This movie is anything but that. The special effects are KILLER!! Whoever was responsible deserves an Oscar. There are several disaster scenes in the movie that are so realistic that it has me over here, even as I type this, considering not ever flying again. One scene actually had me in tears.....carazy!!! I know...I'm such a punk! I told Z that never until today, not even after 9/11, has something truly shook me to the core like that did. But then I realized it's because you only hear about what happens after the fact. You don't have a birds eye and actually see the events in real time to know how it all goes down. Yeah I know we all saw the events of 9/11 as they transpired but I wasn't physically there. This movie made me feel as though I was and put it into perspective for me. I could go on and on about it but I'm pretty certain you would at least like to know what the movie is about. lol

Without giving too much away, the movie starts back in '59 with the sealing of a time capsule at a school. Enclosed in the capsule, along with mainly drawings, is a sheet of paper with random sequences of numbers written by a young girl that was contacted by the "whisper" people. Fastforward to 50 years later when the capsule is opened. The son of the character played by N.Cage, receives the envelope that contains the number paper. The whisper people contact him, as well as many others as we found out later in the movie. The dad takes the paper one night and partially decodes it realizing that the number sequences are the dates and number of people that die (and eventually the latitude and longitude) during the tragic events that have happened and are to happen in theincluding the extinction of Earth. The movie pretty much revolves around the dates and the dad trying to figure out what the whisper people want with his kid.

Overall, the story is well written and all the actors did a very good job of portraying their characters. I have nothing bad to say about this film but I will say everyone will not like it. One lady got up, walked out, and never came back. I heard the people behind us comment as we were all leaving that it was too wierd. Ehhh, that's their opinion but hey....I think they wierd for thinking it's wierd but whatever. lol

AR Gal rating: GO SEE THIS MOVIE

Record of Assault

I lifted up my head briefly to say hello after I noticed her walking in the entrance behind me at work. I was busy texting on my phone as I had been since I got out of the car. My head was still down looking at my phone as we walked to and both made our way into the elevator. While continuing to mind my own business typing in a message (and giving off a strong "don't bother me" vibe) , I see a hand coming towards me. Not just any hand, a hand full of fingers with cluster rings. I was a bit startled then annoyed as I saw what was in her hand. A business card of the pank variety with that ever noticeable font. I almost screamed but the elevator doors opened so I just grabbed the card, said thank you, and scurried out the door.

I had just been quietly assaulted by a Mary Kay rep.

I don't wanna be saved.........

Yesterday Z and I went to sit and visit with Mr. B and his sister (click here to find out why). We had probably been there the better part of 30 or 40 minutes when the doorbell rings with more company stopping by to pay their respects. This guy comes in with his two daughters. He introduces himself and his kids, they sit down, and we continue to talk. Mr. B was telling us a story about when he used to live in CA and drove down to AR with some friends of his. He had us rolling laughing, it was hilarious. lol Then, he (the guest) did it. He started the interrogation. What's that you ask? The interrogation that always starts with that oh so "innocent" question......."So what church do you go to?". *RMERHTTWMS* (rolling my eyes real hard 'til the white meat shows". I knew as soon as he fixed his mouth to ask where that convo was headed and released a deep sigh as a warning signal to let his ass know I wasn't in the mood.

If there's one thing I absolutely CANNOT stand is churchfolk. And not just any ole' churchgoer. The kind that feels that their life's work is to make you their hoe and them the captain to help save you from the "unholy" and "unchristianlike" life they think you are leading by not going to church or by practicing another faith other than christianity. REALLY? GTFOH!

Anyway, so it started with that question and he kept on and on and on. Especially after Z told him he was of Sooni-Muslim faith and I told him I was non-denominational. Oh goodness no...not that! You would have thought the man said he worshipped satan and he pretty much implied that I did because being non-denominational now means that you don't believe in God. REALLY? I say again GTFOHWTHBS!!!! After about 20 minutes (too long) of his ass being way more than too nosey, he and Z going back and forth about their different faiths (read dude trying to tell Z what he believed was wrong), and me seeing Mr. B give ole' boy the side-eye no less than 3 times I put a stop to it all.

Me: "Excuse me Mr. ....what's your name again?
Mistah: Mr. S
Me: Mr. S, with all due respect, this is neither the time NOR the place for this conversation. We are all here, or are supposed to be here, for one reason and one reason only...to visit with Mr. B. and Grace and support them right now NOT to have a come to Jesus meeting. Now if it's not too terribly hard for you, would you mind keeping your questions and/or comments regarding the way WE (pointing and Z and myself) live our lives to yourself. Thanks.
Mistah: Oh sister
Me: I ain't ya sister
Mistah: Oh, *sarcastic chuckle* well Ms. I meant no harm I was just trying to get to know you and your...is it your husband or boyfriend.
Me: *taking a deep breath with a smirk on my face* He is my boyfriend (I had to REALLY resist the urge to say "AND??", lmao)but I can see where this is going and I will not entertain you any longer, just know people like you are the reason why I no longer participate in organized religion.

Just then the doorbell rings (such impeccable timing) and in walks his wife. She came in and introduced herself and I personally felt that I was our que to mosey on up out of that joint. We said our goodbyes and do you know this dude tried to actually hug me?? AS IF?! I extended my hand to shake his, told his ass bye and went over to hug Mr. B and Grace.

Needless, to say Z and I heard great conversation about Captain Save a Soul when we returned home. At first I was a little remorseful about saying what I said in front of his kids. Then I wasn't and got over it. I'm sure this dude does this all of the time so this is something they are used to. I kinda feel sorry for them because their daddy is dumb as a box of rocks.

Today, after returning from grocery shopping, Mr. B called and asked if could he come over. Once he arrived, he told us he had come to apologize for the way ole boy treated us. Hmmmm, seems I read those side-eyes correctly. lol He also said that he did another one of his guests that came to visit later that evening the exact same way! Really? Dude needs to be bitch slapped with his bible....like for real. Of course we told Mr. B that there was no need for him to apologize. It's not his fault his church fam is an idiot. I did apologize to Mr. B, I had actually planned on calling him today when I returned home, for overstepping my bounds in his home. He told me there was no need for my apology because he would have done the same thing. lol I heart him. Mr. B said the next time he is over there and tries that he will put a stop to himself because it is extremely rude and disrepectful to him and to his guests. I concur!!! Go Mr. B!! I'd pay to be a fly on that wall when that happens. lol

I'm just glad I finally opened my mouth to voice my opinion. Granted I may have been in the wrong with my timing but I was beyond sick and tired of his useless drivel. There have been SO many times when I would just let something like that slide because of the "respect your elders" clause but you know what...I just don't care anymore. I was so put off by his bitchassedness (with his six car garage that has no cars in it because they all sit outside....yeah he's a strange one...or a big fat liar) and the fact that he put respect by the wayside for the sake of his own agenda. Over the years, I've found myself becoming more and more disgusted by people like him. It's obvious they lack the basics of hometraining and common sense. I love my life and the way I live it. It works for me. I don't need your stamp of approval nor do I need your advice on ways to live a "better" life. Please believe if and when I need your opinion, I will ask. Until then, kick rocks and kiss my ass.

Life and Death.............

I was just outside finishing up the convo with the repairman that came by and noticed an abundance of cars in the driveways of both of my neighbors yard. As I was walking to the mailbox, I noticed a sign in one of the neighbors yard announcing the birth of their new baby. Awwwwwww. I really don't talk to them all that much but I'll be sure to tell the husband congratulations next time I see him out walking their dog.

Since the driveway at the other house was also full, I saw a couple across the street taking soda's and Styrofoam cups out of the trunk of their car. I stopped to ask them was everything okay, in my mind knowing what words were about to come next (it's just something about seeing folks randomly bring over pops to a house ya know?).

Friend of Neighbor: No, Mrs. B passed away this morning.
Me: WHAT?!
FON: Yeah, you know she had to go back to the hospital.
Me: No, but she was just here Tuesday (like that makes a difference)
FON: Yeah.....

Then I busted out crying, told them thank you, and went into the house.*sigh* I don't know where that came from and feel stupid for crying in front of a couple of strangers like that. *bigger sigh* I'm sad though. Tuesday was the last day I saw her since it was the last day this week that was nice enough to go walking. I would normally only see them when I went to pick up their dog to take him walking with my pack or if they called for Z and I to come over and do something for them.

I'll miss Mrs. B. She was a cool old lady that gave good advice. I'll miss her referring to Z and I as her "kids". I'll miss her harassing us about doing the right thing and tying the knot. Okay not really but oddly enough, she was one of the few people that didn't annoy me when she brought it up. lol I remember when she came home after being released from the hospital and physical therapy (after breaking her hip). When I stopped by to chat it up with her, I honestly was shocked because she seemed just fine. She was waiting on Mr. B to come back with her cigarettes (she stayed lighting up the VA Slims, lol) and we just talked about everything and nothing. I guess in my head that stereotype of it having a hip break and being old and it all "going downhill" was implanted in my head. Perhaps they were right. I dunno. I'm just sad and in shock.

Z will be off in a little while. Hopefully the visitors will have died down by then so we can go pay our respects.

Updated: We decided to wait until later this weekend to go over and sit with him (and his sister who also stays next door). I talked with Mr. B over the phone not too long ago and he just sounds sooo sad AND tired. I have the blinds open and people have been coming and going all day long. We didn't stay on the phone very long but he did say that this was unexpected. :(

It's really not me.........

...........I promise. They keep putting this stuff out here on the innernets and I just have to watch and share. Your world is a better place for knowing that this stuff and that these people exists. I'm keeping ya'll in the know so you can be on the lookout for the crazies. You can thank me later with Girl Scout cookies.

Anyway, I present to you some of the weirdest sh*t I think I've come across on youtube to date. While the pop-up text was really creative, I really don't think making a gospel song about "no mo' breakfast" is the way to coerce people that Kingdom of Heaven is where they want and/or need to be. And I lied.....the pop-up text is not really that great although it did serve as a good translating tool. I guess my seat in heaven is in jeopardy....*weeps*

Thanks Goli!!

One of the few things in the world.....

.......that will literally make me stop what I'm doing is

I have loved this movie since I was a kid. And even though those flying monkeys and orange things that were in the subway station used to scare me when I was little I will love it 'til the day I die. It's on now and all is well in my world.

I have to get back to the movie but I'll leave you with my favorite song by Fleetwood Coupe De'Ville. RIP Ted Ross.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that

I burned the side of my face with a curling iron this morning. Boooooo!!!

Cochise's 4th birthday was yesterday. That's 28 in dog years. It's time for him to get a job.

I'm SO happy it's Friday!!! Why do short work weeks always seem longer than normal work weeks?

Why do people wear open toe shoes just because it warms up a little during this time of year? NEWSFLASH: It's still winter!!

Why do those same people's toes look like woodchips and crack rocks?

The hand soap my job uses dries my hands out. It's crazy!

Octomom was photographed going to the bank recently. I thought she was supposed to be in hiding. I wonder if she really has any money in the bank or did she just tell the teller to pass some deposit slips her way to make it seem like money was exchanged.

I got a new bedroom suite last week. It's really cute. Wanna see? I had been in search of the the perfect set and had been having no luck since everything I saw was either not to my liking or too expensive. Then I remembered this warehouse place out by JCPenney that sold furniture and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did, because I fell in love as soon as I laid eyes on it. It's by Ashley which is why I was able to find a pic. The fact that it's non-traditional really made me *swoon*. It's a two-tone dark (cherry) and light wood (oak/pine?) combo which really stands out especially in the bedroom. The leather headboard is a definite plus. I got everything except the TV armoire. I have one already that matches (the lighter wood) it almost to a "T" except for the handles. But that can easily be swapped out to blend in.

The delivery guy was an @ss. Z almost ripped him a new one because I was upset about him being late and dude was unapologetic about the ish. Yeah I know, delivery guys are always late but when you say you will be there at a certain time, I expect you to be there. It's not like he gave me the between 12 and 5 spill, he said between 3 and 3 :15. He shows up and hour and 45 minutes later....da phuck? UGH! Anyway, we've got new bedroom furniture and that makes me happy so screw him. lol

I'm loving this song (embedding was disabled. sowwy)

Relationship meme quiz thingamajig

What are your middle names?
I'm totally not going to tell my middle name as it would give away my anonymity because it's really, really, really, REALLY uncommon. Like seriously, I may be the only person on this planet that has this name. *goes to google* Okay, so it turns out I'm not the only person but still, I live in AR...it really wouldn't be that hard to figure out who I am if I told. lol

Z has two middle names. :)

How long have you been together?
Goodness, lemme think. Ummmmm, 4 years and some change.

How long did you know each other before you started dating?
We didn't.

Who asked whom out?
No one really asked anyone out. Honest to goodness we just clicked from the first time we met and have been attached at the hip ever since. He was friends with my homeboy. We first met when a couple of my friends and I went to visit my homeboy one night during a fit of boredom. Z was there watching a movie. I saw him giving me googly eyes or maybe it was my boobs but whatever. We hit it off and the rest is history.

How old are each of you?
Craddle robber is 38 (he just had a bday in December) and I am *gasp* 31. Didn't see that one coming did you? lol

Whose siblings do you see the most?
He sees my siblings the most since my folks live closer. His sister lives in Cali.

Which situation is the hardest on you as a couple?
Ummmmmmm, this is a hard one. Not in a "we're so perfect" kind of way (because we're not) but because I've just never thought about it. I would say dealing with each others bad habits.

Did you go to the same school?
Nope.

Are you from the same home town?
Nope. I'm a born and bred Arkansan. He's was born in AR but grew up in San Jose'. He claims he's a city boy. I say he's faker. LMAO!!

Who is smarter?
It depends on the topic. I have a wealth of knowledge regarding totally useless information . He has a wealth of knowledge regarding stuff I have no interest in (ie, space, ancient history, survival techniques, natural disasters, etc)

Who is the most sensitive?
That would be me.

Where do you eat out most as a couple?

We usually do takeout. Wingstop is da bomb!! Lemon pepper flavored wings anyone??

Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple?
This is funny because it's really not that far....Dallas.

Who has the craziest exes?
HA! Moi!!

Who has the worst temper?
It's a draw. We've had some arguments that are just down right ugly. Neither of us likes to be wrong....ever. Now that I think about it, this has been one of the hardest things to overcome as a couple.

Who does the cooking?
We both do. His palate is a bit different from mine. I can eat meatless meals. He's a "Where's the Beef?" kind of guy.

Who is the neat-freak?
ME!!! And he is not extremely sloppy but is it too much to ask that when you open a new container of ice cream that you throw away the plastic thingamajig that's around it instead of leaving it on the counter??!! Drives me fuckin nuts!!!

Who is more stubborn?
It's a draw again folks.

Who hogs the bed?

Z! I am constantly telling him to move in the middle of the night. lol

Who wakes up earlier?
Z usually gets up about 30 minutes earlier than me. You would think that we would get up at the same time since there are 3 alarms set to go off within 30 minutes of each other. Between the alarm clock and the alarms on my cell and his I only hear one. My cell phone. And sometimes not until the 2nd time it goes off. I've got a good feeling tomorrow will be one of those days. lol

Where was your first date?

I honestly have no recollection but I'm willing to bet it involved some local dive and a movie.

Who is more jealous?
Neither. I think my guy is rather hot. I wouldn't be with him if he wasn't. I always tease him about how some women ogle him when we go grocery shopping. Particularly white women with interracial children. It never fails, they always stare. He didn't believe me and thought I was just paranoid until he witnessed it himself a couple of times and admitted defeat. lol

How long did it take to get serious?

Not long at all.

Who eats more?

*snickers*I like to eat...sue me.

Who does the laundry?
We do our own....thank goodness. I can barely stand to do my own. Folding and putting up clothes is the worst!! Wouldn't you agree?

Who’s better with the computer?

Me. I've got to use my CIS degree for something! What better than bragging rights?

Who drives when you are together?
Depends on the car we are in.

Your turn!

Afternoon at the Movies: Friday the 13th

I haven't done one of these in quite some time even though we have seen quite a few movies since my last movie review. I'll try and do a better job in '09. Before I get started with this one let me just say Paul Blart: Mall Cop is a must see. Okay, now on with the review.

There's really not much to tell. It's a classic slasher flick with lots of young kids, tits, sex, cussing, "unique" ways to die, and oh yeah Jason....ch, ch, ch, ha, ha, ha. Speaking of, I always thought Jason did his work at night not during the day. He was slashing up mofo's from sunrise to sunset. lol Anyway, it's not the least bit scary and most people in the theater were laughing at the ridiculousness of it all (present company included). I'd say if you want to go see this just because you've always gone to see the Friday the 13th series in the theater then knock yourself out, otherwise it can wait.

AR Gal rates this flick: Same story, different year.

Irony at it's best!!

I despise junk email forwards. I think they are dumb, dumb, dumb and do nothing more than to clog up the webosphere! Is that a word? According to spell check apparently not...who cares! Anyway, imagine my disgust when I received yet another forward from a friend of mine. Usually I just click delete when I see that FW: in the subject line but something told me to open this one. I hollered when I read what she typed (Freaky you'll love this!):

Good info. I quit forwarding these type of emails long time ago.

Bwahahahahahahahaha, I hollered up here at work. The irony of it all just sent me into a fit of giggles. She still forwarded a junk email! LMAO!!!

Subject: fyi Advice from Snopes.com

Advice from Snopes.com <http://snopes.com/>

1) Any time you see an E -Mail that says forward this on to '10' of your friends, or sign this petition, or you'll get bad luck, good luck, or whatever, it almost always has an E-Mail tracker program attached that tracks the cookies and E-Mails of those folks you forward to.

The host sender is getting a copy each time it gets forwarded and then is able to get lists of 'active' E-Mails to use in SPAM E-Mails, or sell to other spammers.

2) Almost all E-Mails that ask you to add your name and forward on to others are similar to that mass letter years ago that asked people to send business cards to the little kid in Florida who wanted to break the Guinness Book of Records for the most cards.

All it was, and all any of this type of E-Mail is, is a way to get names and 'cookie ' tracking information for telemarketers and s pammers - - to validate active E-Mail accounts for their own profitable purposes.

You can do your friends and family members a GREAT favor (PLEASE) by sending this information to them; you will be providing a service to your friends, and will be rewarded by not getting thousands of spam E-Mails in the future!

If you have been sending out (FORWARDING) the above kinds of E-Mail, now you know why you get so much SPAM!

Do yourself a favor and STOP adding your name(s) to those types of listings regardless how inviting they might sound! You may think you are supporting a GREAT cause, but you are NOT in the long run. Instead, you will be getting tons of junk mail later! Plus, we are helping the spammers get rich! Let's don't make it easy for them!

Also: E-Mail petitions are NOT acceptable to Congress or any other organization. To be acceptable, petitions must have a signed signature and full address of the person signing the petition.

Dear Chris Brown.....

....this is for you. If what I read is true, you should be mad at yourself for not wrapping it up. Not Umbrella girl for giving you the cooties.

Kids! When will they learn??!!

This has got to be......

.........one of the dumbest things to lose your life over.

Long story short, a Hummer and a Denali are parked next to each other in a parking lot. The owner of the Hummer complains that the owner of the Denali parked to close. Hummer owner's husband goes into truck then shoots and kills owner of Denali.

Seriously, what the hell did the Hummer owner expect? It's not like either of those vehicles are mini-cooper size. What happened to just walking away? This is just ridiculous.

Man, 59, charged in Cordova parking-lot killin

A little bit of this, a little bit of that......

I had to ask someone what day it was today. I'm glad they said it was Thursday. I'm sad I had to ask.

Tomorrow will be a beautiful day. The temp's will be in the upper 60's...maybe more. You know the weather folks never get it right.

I have been craving sweet potato fries. I decided Monday that I would be going to the restaurant in the Clinton Library Friday to get some. Most of their other food really sucks major ass but whoever cooks those has them down to a science. They are yummy!

Z keeps hollering at the tv in the other room. There is a Lakers game on.

The scratchiness in my throat will not go away. I so do not want a cold. I'm fighting it with all my might. I plan on getting liquored up this weekend to help ease the germs out of my body.

These random posts are the new rage in blogdome. I can see why. It's much simpler not to have to form a complete thought and just type whatever.

I want another laptop. Z (ie we) just got a new one a month ago but I want us to each have one so we won't feel pressure to hurry up and finish because the other one wants/needs to use it. I saw one last night that I wanted. I said that if I was still thinking about it today that I would go ahead and get it. I'm still thinking about it but I have yet to whip out the plastic. Z says do it as long as I think I can handle it financially.

I hate making decisions involving a lot of money.

Why can't I be a Trump? This wouldn't even be an issue.

I still want to get new bedroom furniture too. I've been getting that for about two years now...*sigh* I said that I would put my tax return towards the furniture and just pay for the laptop in monthly installments. In this economy though, I don't really want to overextend myself.

I hate making decisions involving a lot of money.

My butt is getting numb sitting in the bed.

The AA (Admin. Assistant) on our team annoys me....truly she does. Yes I know I've said she's sweet (which she is) but I'm tired of giving her passes just because she's not from here. If you know how to listen to BBC radio online then you should know how to find out what another name for finger foods is online....GOOGLE IT HELL! When she called to ask me that, I answered her question but I had to repeat it like 5 times so I told her I'd send her something via email. Guess what I put in the search bar....."what is another name for finger foods". That wasn't hard was it? This is the link I sent her.

Z is still hollering in the other room. I think the Lakers just won...who cares.

I just saw a commercial for Hanks (a furniture store). It must be a sign. lol

One of my nephews 5th birthday is next month. I suppose I should travel to STL and go to his party. I don't like his daddy, ie my brother-in-law. I'd rather send him something and just stay at home.

My mom sent me a copy of the inauguration issue of The Washington Post (and a calendar) when she returned to Memphis. It's in a plastic cover. I'm assuming that's how she bought it. I still have it in the box she sent it to me in. Her heart was in the right place but I have NO idea what to do with it. My mom keeps newspaper clippings and things of that nature...I don't. I don't do collectibles which is why I have yet to purchase any of the Obama stuff (plates, pins, etc, etc, etc). It's just one more thing that will collect dust...with me anyway. I bought something I could use, a t-shirt. Maybe I will sell the paper on E-bay.

I just saw a Rally's commercial. I can sum their food up in one word...GROSS!!! I stopped eating there about 5 years ago after the fries I received tasted like fish. Blech!

V-Day is coming up soon. Some people I know think I'm strange because I don't make awwww noises and throw up spirit fingers at the mention of it. I don't knock anyone that chooses to celebrate it bu I'm one of those folks that considers it just another day. I believe that you should spend it with someone you love (this includes your damn self if you don't have anyone) but I do that everyday so why would I feel the need to go wait at a restaurant for hours only to have mediocre overpriced food and drink. I think not! We will be at the house spending time with and loving one another........just like we will be doing 2/13.

Much Ado About Nothing......

It's currently 24 degrees in Little Rock right now. Well it was at the time I took this pic. It's now 27.

This is what I will be having for lunch today. The soup is Terryaki Chicken Noodle by Campell's. It's the best of that line IMO. In the bag are sweet mini-peppers. Someone also told me they are referred to as sport peppers. Whatever you wanna call them they are good, good, GOOD! I put them in my salad at night too.

The granola bar is my morning snack. The popcorn is my pm snack. Sometimes I eat 'em...sometimes I don't. I keep a spare granola bar in my purse all the times. I'm always getting hungry!

This is the water bottle I keep at work. That's a lot of water! It keeps me in the restroom.

I used some of that water to down these this morning. I think I'm coming down with a cold.

I always have these items at my desk

I worked next door to the Clinton Library. It really does look like a trailer on wheels. LMAO! This is the back view from my office building.

Bump what ya heard...this is the REAL Sasha Fierce!!!
*snaps for the kids 3 times*

Ladies, have you seen the pic of Santonio Holmes circulating around the net? Just google it and I'm sure you'll find it. BEWARE:It's totally NSFW though. Anyway, this chicken nugget I was eating last night made me think of his "glamour" shot.

Preacher's Kid (aka PK)

While typing the previous post, I remembered that PK had tried to get in contact with me recently. I received a call around September or October last year from him while I was at work. Normally when I get a message from someone unfamiliar, I just hit the erase button and call it a day but it was something about the voice I heard that made me keep it.....well that and the fact that I heard my full name. The message as it played out basically said he was looking for me, stated his name (which I couldn't understand), and said that he would call back at a later time. I listened to the recording he left repeatedly for days and could not figure out what name was being said or who the voice belonged to. I even made Z listen a few times to see if he could decipher anything. After about the 5th day of trying to figure it out, I finally struck gold and heard the name ......Preacher's Kid. I literally screamed out loud because the mystery had been solved. I also figured out the reason I couldn't understand him is because when he stated his name some noise was interfering (it kind of sounded like someone was talking over a loudspeaker) and he didn't repeat himself.

After calming down, I then wondered...what the hell did/does he want? I wish I could tell you but he has yet to call back. I must admit I was initially bummed out because curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to know what was up and how he was doing. I haven't laid eyes on him or talked with him in like 15 years and it would be awesome to catch up. Random thought.....every time I refer to something in the past using double digits like that I feel old as hell. Anyway, I know that he got married not too much longer after he split from our hometown, lives in NC (or was the last time I heard) and had a couple of kids (gotta love the small town grapevine network). Oh well, for what it's worth I hope all is well with him.

Cherry Pop

I was over at Freaky D’s spot the other day reading over a post of his. As I made a comment in reference to the first time, my first time popped in my head. I still remember it to this day and just like it was yesterday. The memory is just terrifying and memorable as it was then.

I was 16 at the time which means it was 1993…the summer of that year to be exact. My first boyfriend and the love of my life (until the next one came along) had come over to the house to visit me. I thought this guy was the greatest thing since sliced bread him being my first boyfriend and all. He was tall (6’4”), a bit chubby, not so dark, had a deep voice, and was handsome. His parents were well known because his dad was a preacher. Ya’ll know what they say about PK’s (preacher’s kids) right? They weren’t lyin. This of course was a plus for me because it meant I knew my mom wouldn't scrutinize him half to death since he came from good people.

When he arrived, he did his normal greeting and chatted with my mom until she excused herself into her bedroom which was the next room over. I went and took a seat in one of the chairs because my mom was taking too long running her mouth as usual. I still remember the thought that went through my head as she continued to ramble on, “She’s just doing this on purpose because she doesn’t want us to be alone.” LMAO Now that I think about it, it was probably partly true.

Anyway, so she leaves and he goes over to the couch to have a seat. We started making conversation about whatever was on tv and I get up to get something to drink. I ask him if he wants something, he says yes and I come back with our cups and sit down on the couch next to him. After awhile, he puts his arm around my shoulder movie style and I scoot a little closer. At this point, he is ready to make his move so he asked me something really silly (I can’t remember what right now) that ‘caused me to have to turn my head toward his face. Then it happens….he plants one on me. Finally, I thought! It’s not like we hadn’t kissed before but whenever we did it was always exciting because I got a serious case of the butterflies. It kind of feels like I got them again thinking about it typing this post….so stranjay!

One thing leads to another (read heavy petting) and we end up on the floor. He’s laying on top of me when I feel the bulge happen. Once again, this was nothing new because our kissing sessions tended to get hot and heavy. So then I hear him ask if I wanted to. Wanted to what, I ask back. So he gives me this look and I just stare and ask understanding what he means…are you serious? Here…now? He says yes but only if I want to. This goes on for another minute or so until I finally say yes. *sigh* Every time, I think about this the same question goes through my head…..what the fuck where you thinking??? He proceeds to unzip his fly and put the condom on while I scoot out of my shorts. Then well, you know what happens next except remember this is my first time ever so I had no clue as to what I was about to experience. I was just horny and ready to do it. *smdh* While we’re kissing, I feel him easing the tip in when he (accidentally) falls on me. Like literally all of his weight collapses on (and in) my body including his you know what. Oh.my.lawd!!!! All I felt was pain and my face showed it. My eyes and my mouth shot open and I drew in a gasp of big air. PK new exactly what happened so he covers my mouth with his hand and just starts saying I’m sorry over and over and over. After I recover and was able to talk he asked if I was okay. I say yes and he asked if I wanted to continue. I figured why not, you’re still in there so keep on. Of course he never came close to rocking my world, but the feeling wasn’t so bad after the initial ummmmmmm entry.

A bit of time passes when I hear a door open…the door to my mom’s bedroom to be more exact. I don’t know if time sped up or slowed down but the time it took for him to scoot against the couch (and cover up his lower half with his shirt) and for me to scoot against the side of the chair (so she wouldn’t see my half nekkid behind) was less than a second…I promise!

Mama: PK, you have a phone call, it’s your sister.

PK: Ok.

Mama: You can get it in the kitchen

PK: Ok, thank you.

I couldn't turn around but I hear her still standing there and I knowing my mom like I do, she is wondering why the boy wasn’t moving. Lol

Mama: Well are you gonna get the phone.

PK: Yes ma’am, I’m getting up now.

I don’t know if she sensed something was up or she just got tired of waiting on him to actually get up from the floor but she turned around and headed back in the other room. It was then that I realized I was holding my breath and let the air escape. My heart was racing and I was damn near close to tears. While he headed off to the kitchen I quickly gathered my draws and shorts and put them back on. My head was down and I saw a blood stain on the carpet. Shit, I thought. I ran to the laundry room to get something to put down on the carpet to clean it up with. Luckily the cleaner was strong because the stain came right on up.

PK, finishes up his call and tells me he will have to leave in about an hour because he has to pick his little sister up. I told him we should step outside to talk. The conversation consisted of nothing more than we were SO glad that we didn’t get caught, I love you, blah blah blah. Of course the topic of when to do it again came up since we didn't get a good start. We decided that next time we would have to actually have to be somewhere that there was privacy (no shit sherlock) and we did. The next time we did it at his folks house while everyone was gone. :-)

Free Stuff

So I ventured out to Dillard's Friday to take advantage of the giveaways due to the cosmetics settlement. I took a shot first at the mall closest to my job, found the table, signed a named to a sheet of paper, looked at some jewelry on clearance and then a thought crossed my mind. Instead of wasting time here, I can zoom on over to the other mall and take a shot to see if they had any stuff left there. I figured it was a win-win situation because even if they had run out, Chick-fil-a was right across the street and I could get my nuggets and waffle fries (w/Polynesian sauce). *swoons*

It turns out I was in luck because they had plenty left to give away. There were two ladies working the table at this mall and the older of the two informed some of us in line that we could come back through if we wanted. All we had to do was wait about 5 minutes or so. Word?! Thank goodness the line wasn't long because I would have reconsidered waiting. In between, I would dart over into jewelry look (very briefly) and get back in line. I ended up going through 3 times so I could have two of each thing (Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair & Clinique Moisture Surge) they were giving away.

While waiting in line the last time, this lady came up and asked what we were waiting for. This guy (he was in line with his wife) and I told her about it. So then she asked what signing our name represents. I told her I have no idea but if she was concerned, just don't sign her real name, I didn't. Notice earlier when I went the first time, I said I signed a name. Truth be told it was kinda fun making up new names to write down. lol Anyway, so she goes on to say she still wasn't sure if she should do it. Ummmmm, mkay makes me no difference. I just told her I understand, smiled, turned away, got the last of my free ish and went on my way.

Needless to say, I'm pleased with the outcome. I got tons of free stuff and had Chick-fil-a for lunch. You can't beat that with a wooden stick!

I'm following suit.......

......and doing a brain dump post. Why? Well shit because I can!

I'm currently watching E.R. but I'm not really watching it like I was last week.

I like the character Neela. I've always thought the lady that plays her is so pretty.

I watched Grey's Anatomy this evening. It was pretty decent and way better than some previous episodes. I think Denny ghoolish ass is finally gone. I sure hope so because that storyline with he and Izzy is WHACKADOCIOUS!!!

Izzy is sick....thank goodness! I hope her character dies and shrivels up into a pile of pixie dust.

I watched Ugly Betty before that. It was pretty good too. If Betty stopped being "ugly" and had a swan moment, would the show still be called Ugly Betty? That question kept running through my head for whatever reason.

I walked and did 45 minutes of Tae-Bo today. Go me!

My neighbor, Mrs. B., fell and broke her hip Tuesday night.

I was relieved it happened after the President and First Lady's first dance.

Judge me if you want to, I'm just being honest.

Her sister-in-law, who lives with them, came over to get Z so he could help get her out of the garage where she fell. Some other dude that's a friend of theirs was there as well.

Z said he didn't want to move her and wanted to wait for the ambulance but dumb bumblefuck (their friend) had already lifted her off of the ground so he (Z) just proceeded to help her to the couch.

Her hip was probably already broken but still. *sigh* The road to recovery will be long and hard for her...especially since she's like 70 something.

I felt bad for Mr. B. This is not the first time this has happened. Mrs. B is always going to the hospital for something or another.

I can't stand people that try and throw you under the bus at work.

I really can't stand people that try and throw you under the bus at work that don't have their facts straight.

I may not like working but I know my job and all that it entails.

If you want to play games, I'd prefer if you save that for family night at your house but since you won't.....come harder next time bitch.

My Memphis folks are back at home from DC.

My STL fam will be leaving tomorrow.

Everyone sounds tired as hell. I'm sure it was memorable but honestly I'm glad I stayed at home.

I wish it was Friday night instead of Thursday night.

My boss won't be a work tomorrow. Hip Hip Hooray!!!!

One of my team mates is getting the can due to a re-org. Too bad because she's the one I liked the best. :(

Our Admin. Asst. still gets on my nerves. She's sweet but DAMN she's annoying!

I got my hair done yesterday. I had her whack the back and trim the sides. The cut I got last year was starting to grow out and looked crazy as hell.

I need to go spend some QT time with my man.

I'll holla!

It's official.......

......my favorite new show is "United States of Tara" on Showtime. I can't go into detail about the show because I am typing this from my cell so just google it. :-) I've always enjoyed watching Toni Collette act but let me tell you ole girl acts her ass off on this show. I highly recommend that you check it out if you have time.....and "The L Word" (which was fabulous tonight by the way.

Now it's time to watch "Big Love". Sunday night tv is great....at least when these shows are on.

Woman, thou art mad

For those of you not in the know, you can watch movies online for free. Not just any old movie, even though those are available as well, but new releases. Surf the channel (STC) has been locked in my favorites since a friend hipped me to it about a year or so ago. After growing tired of channel surfing and having nothing else to do this morning, I decided to boot up the laptop and see what new releases I could find online. Most times it's pretty much hit or miss if you will be able to view the movie. Sometimes you have to download stuff to watch and I'm not down with that so I just wait it out until a better online version comes along (ie when I remember to go back or wait until it comes out on cable if it is something I've deemed unworthy to view @ the theater.
Anyway, so I'm surfing through the list of films and see "Bride Wars" which is something I want to see but on my unworthy to view @ the theater list. I click the link and lo and behold, the movie starts playing. SCORE!!

The quality is sucky but it was clear enough for me to watch and not complain about so I stuck with it. So I'm watching and clipping coupons to go grocery shopping later today...WHAT? I know how to seize a multi-task opportunity! Like I said, I'm watching and laughing here and there when the movie just stops. I touch the mouse pad thinking too much time had passed and the laptop has gone to sleep. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....no. The message on the screen informs me of the following:

You have watched 72 minutes of video today. Please wait 54 minutes or click here to enjoy unlimited use of Megavideo

My face has the most screwy look on it but all I can do is crack up laughing like a mad woman. It was kinda scary...like for real. LMAO!!! This has never happened to me before so I'm kinda like in shock. You wanna know the killer though? When I last looked at the time left in the movie it was at 1:11 out of 1:23. Yes you read that right, there was only 12 minutes left in the damn movie and most of that was probably credits!! Bwahahahahahahahahaha

*sigh* I guess I'll finish clipping my coupons, making my list, and going to the grocery store. That will take up 54 plus minutes so I can finish watching the movie. Hey what can I say? I like to finish what I start.....most of the time. lol

UPDATED: I don't want to confuse anyone with what STC actually does. It pretty much is a vessel that shows all the movies that are available online to see. Once you click the movie name it takes you to a different page which gives you a choice of different links which lead to different websites. One of those sites is Megavideo which, as you know by now, has a time limit (72 minutes at a time, lol). I would suggest trying other links to view movies with so you won't be rudely interrupted during your movie watching experience like I was.

LOST AND FOUND

I don’t know about you but I hate it when I lose things….especially things I like a lot. Needless to say I was TOTALLY bummed out when I lost one of my sterling silver hoop earrings at Wally World Saturday.

Quick story: I had been searching high and low for THE perfect pair of SS earrings but never found the right ones because they were either too small, too big, too much money, etc. I even went on my fav website to buy SS jewelry (http://www.inspiredsilver.com/) and found a cute pair but changed my mind because I was unsure if they would be too small or too big. *sigh* It was close to the time I was going to Nashville and I remembered that they always have street vendors there selling all kinds of stuff including SS jewelry (at reasonable prices) so I chilled out and waited. Well, I sure am glad I did because as soon as I saw them I knew they were destined for my earlobes! I snatched them up (along with some shea butter, black soap and a few other knick knacks) and that was that.

I felt them in my ears as I walked around the store but as I made it to the cashier to check out, I swear I felt the left one fall. I stopped what I was doing and immediately reached up to my ear to make sure I wasn’t imaging things and sure enough it was gone. I checked my neck, my back….let me stop because this is starting to sound like a Khia song. Let’s just say I checked high and low and still found nothing. By this time someone walked up behind me in line so I completed my transaction, scanned the floor one more time and went to stand to the side. The cashier dude asked me if I lost something and I told him yes my earring. I told him to be on the lookout for it because I was going to go walk around the store just in case. I can’t say it was a complete and total waste of time because that extra walk did help me get closer to my 5000 steps that day. Lol

Admitting defeat, I trekked to my car with one earring in my ear which I snatched out as soon as I realized I only had one earring on. WHAT?! This ain’t the 80’s. That look is SO out of style (even though I’m sure it will be back in the next few years). I get home, tell Z, he mumbles something that sounded like sorry to hear that (*RME*), I pout for a little while, and then I forget about it. That is until yesterday.

I was searching around in my purse for my pack of gum when I came across the lone earring I snatched out of my ear. Then I saw something else shining in the light from the ceiling. I pushed the other junk in my purse out of the way and low and behold there it was……my other earring. I was so happy I could have done the Stanky Leg!! I was at work though and didn’t want the people to know how much of a fool I really am so I just smiled really hard and place them both back in my purse. I did make a mental note to do it (the stanky leg) when I got home but I didn’t because I forgot. It’s the story of my life.

Since I didn’t do the stanky leg and am back at the plantation, the least I could do is post some youtube foolishness of someone else doing it.

Dumb Questions

Z and I are sitting here watching the Giants-v-Eagles game. This was totally not my intent as I'm not a sports fan but I was online and didn't feel like taking the laptop to the bedroom so here I sit( for the record I am only half watching). Anyway, some player had just made a goofy play and the convo begins there.

Z:Did you see that?

Me: See what?

Z: What the dude on the field did with the football?

Me: Nope

Z: It looked just like something I saw on tv once. What's the name of that show Bill Cosby had?

Me: *Lookin at him crazy as hell* The Cosby Show?

Z: Uhhh, yeah. *laughs*

Me: You're dumb Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

He was trying to explain an episode on The Cosby Show when Heathcliff played football or something and the play on the field he saw reminded him of that scene. I can't even remember whatever episode he was talkin about because I am still over here laughing at his crazy behind. lol

My apologies to all Giants fans and congrats to Eagles fans.

Some things I've noticed........

...............while being at home today and last week.

  • I really like watching tv court shows. The People's Court, Judge Hatchett, Judge Karen, Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, Divorce Court, etc, etc, etc. It is quite entertaining.
  • My dogs get on my nerves wanting to constantly go outside but never want to stay outdoors long.
  • Movies on cable suck during this time of day.
  • Fit TV is the bomb.
  • Gillad on Bodies in Motion has still got it and can take my breath away. Have you ever tried his workout routines?
  • I hate this commercial. Why was the courtroom scene shot inside a church?

I'm so blue........

....what is I'm gone do???!!!!

Z and I have been off from work since 12/23 and have been THOROUGHLY enjoying our time in vacation bliss. Now that time is drawing to a close as we have to report back on 1/5. *sigh* I knew the time would fly by though...it always does when you're having fun. The killer is, we haven't really done much of anything out of the ordinary. We have just been lounging around enjoying each others company. I know, it sounds boring but I promise you it has been anything but.

Next week is gonna suck getting back into the swing of things, big time, but I shall push on because I must. Plus I need the paycheck so ummmm yeah. I suppose the best thing to do is just make the most of the time remaining because like it or not, Monday is coming. *bigger sigh*

Do you guys get like this after you've been off from work on vacation? I know I can't be the only one.

When is the next holiday because I'm already ready for another break! lol

Giving you what I got....musically
